The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. It was so lovely and comfortable that we did not really want to leave the hotel for the concert / meeting friends that was the reason for the visit. We will stay at Hotel du V

Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

Room was clean with comfortable bed, practical shower and washbasin.
Toilet in separate cubicle. Staff were friendly and helpful and public
areas were clean and practical. I had read some unfavourable reviews
after booking, but in my experience the hotel provided excellent value

I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs.
The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave.
As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay.
Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.

When we arrived they had no details of our booking, however they behaved in a very professional way and quickly resolved the issue. The sofa bed was then made up within 1/2 hour of our arrival. All staff were friendly and very helpful. - Rooms very clean and had all the facilities you would expect. Loved that breakfast was served from 6am until 11

The staff were definitely the best about the hotel, very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was totally adequate for the price, clean and bright, the location is perfect for staying in Glasgow and the bar attached to the hotel is one of the best in Glasgow. - the staff were very friendly and willing to help at all times.I would love to return

Very comfortable rooms, staff extremely helpful, food in bistro excellent. I stayed at the hotel with my daughter and the continental breakfast for one was actually enough for both of us. A delightful hotel serviced by very friendly and efficient staff giving the impression of a family run establishment. I was particularly impressed to find the heating was left on over night, and not turned off as is so often the case in some hotels. The beds were super king size, this was fantastic. The whole hotel was spotless, and the location was fantastic as we had tickets for the SECC. Breakfast was lovely too. - Hotel was in excellent position for SECC. The breakfast was very filling with lots of choice and dining room was light bright and airy. Would definately return.

The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. The Junior Suite was immaculate and very well set out. We had a turret in our room and i especially liked the small table and 2 chairs situated in it so that you can be cosy and have a good view of the gardens and beyond. The staff could not be have been nicer. - I was only there for one night arriving in the evening and then off in the morning so didn't get enough time to spend using the hotel facilities. However the new conservatory and food there was good value and comfortable. The newly refurbished room(s) are tastefully done and facilities excellent.

Although the rooms were just a tad tired they were very clean and the beds were comfy.The breakfast was marvellous and plenty to choose from.Wouldn't go hungry here. Very pleasant and helpful staff.Ideal location for travelling.2 mins from the motorway by car .Local bus stop just across the road and regular service.Just ten minutes to town centre.

1.Hotel very convenient for buses into both Glasgow and Paisley.
2. Parking free, and we were allowed to leave car in car park until mid-afternoon after checking out.
3. Room small but comfortable, and equipped with hairdryer and iron+ironing board.
4. Hot, powerful shower - although no bath.
5. Lots of big mirrors.
6. Good selection of hot choices on breakfast buffet counter.
