  I would highly reccommend this hostel. I stayed for 5 nights from 30th August 2013. This place is great if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff (speaking many languages) and a great breakfast. It is located slightly further away from the centre of Lausanne but the number 25 bus stop is only a two minute walk away a... τι λέει ο κόσμος » nd you can be in the city centre within 15 minutes. The complimentary Lausanne Travel Card (valid for 2013 bus and metro travel) was an added bonus wh - Dinners were good and for a good price. Breakfast came with the room. It was a little distant from downtown but we got a bus pass which made it cheap to travel via the public system. The distance to downtown was walkable and enjoyable because it was by the water and in the park with lots of activity, swimming, etc. We took a boat across the lake to Evian France and a train to Geneva from downtown. Be sure to see the Kathedrale Notre-Dame which is right off the metro line.

  We spent the night in Vevey the night before heading into the Alpes. It is a lovely town on Lake Geneva and this hotel is a few minutes walk from the trains station and even closer to one of the two docks where it is possible to catch a lake excursion. We had a double room with shared toilet and shower and never had to wait to use either. The i... τι λέει ο κόσμος » nternet signal is strong, beds comfortable, towels thick and large, shared kitchen very clean and in good order and there was room in the refrigerator - Close to the lake and central to everything. We had bicycles so it was a nice easy ride to montreux. Room was excellent value for money considering the prices some places were charging. Had a secure place to store our bicycles.

  Liked everything about this hotel, staff were very nice and helpful, location was very close to train station, room was cozy and clean, breakfast was the best we had during our 4 day stay in Switzerland. - Very charming and authentic wooden hotel, very few rooms make you feel like in family chalet. Helpful and friendly staff,grate location.

  We stayed here at the hostel on the night of 16th August. The Hostel is situation on the Lake Geneva itself in a very cost surrounding. It was a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The French lady at the reception was very nice, polite and helpful. We had booked for 3 beds in a dorm but the lady was kind enough to give us a 3-bed room at the same pr... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ice. The breakfast was included in the price and it was quite a nourishing one. I would like to thank the lady and also her husband for the hospitalit - Location was perfect, a nice 5 mins leisurely walk away from a train/bus station, what more it comes with an unlimited bus travel card! The rooms- bed and linen- were very clean, I had a good sleep each night. Breakfast was good too.
