Stayed three nights for biking in the area. Spacious, well furnished and clean room in the cosy centre of Gulpen. The place is managed by a very friendly and forthcoming couple. In the middle of the small Village of Gulpen. Very nice and large bathroom. Big room and bed. Outside Old style, small and romantic setting with a nice terrace between walls. Solid cooking with enough variety and good quality food.

I loved everything about it. Peace & tranquillity. Smiley people who want to help you. I have stayed in many, many hotels and so many countries - and Merici is perfect for a quiet few days. I shall come again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They had my room ready early and let me have an early check-in at 11.30am. Location was excellent - very quiet and was how it was described on webpage. - The hotel and staff was very nice. I would always come back here.

7. Possibility to rent a bike (have not tried this service during short stay).
8. Tasty breakfast (eggs, bacon, cheese, yogurts, bread, sweet bread, coffee, tea, orange juice, fruits, jam).
