I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We arrived sooner than planned in
Amsterdam and had to leave our baggage in the hotel before the check-in
time, but that was absolutely no problem. The room is perfect, clean and
spacious, with a great view to the river and equipped with a nice

Excellent stay. We chose this as it is something different and more fun than an ordinary hotel and it was fabulous. Centrally located (10 mins walk from Centraal) but quiet. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Lovely to sit in the wheel house with a drink in hand looking out over the water. Very friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » gage check room was available to store my luggage since I arrived early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Amsterdam. The hotel itself is quite large, but despite this it has a very intimate feel. Each floor has a slightly different design, and each space is unique.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the city...we walked everywhere!
This hotel is very different to any other hotel I have stayed in. It's so funky and artistic. It's like a maze inside but we found this fun navigating back to our room after an enjoyable night out in Amsterdam.
Even better after a long day was getting into the Queen size bed which was very comfortable.

I was part of a group of 8 who stayed for New Year. From the firstminute we walked in to the minute we left we received nothing but firstclass service all round. I loved the food at the restaurant, very delicious. The 25% discount was a great bonus, as well as the discounts on drinks. Our room was really cool and the art everywhere was very interesting. Clean, bright, airy. Good breakfast spread, authentic dutch stairs, good lockers, good location. And even some pretty designs -- that's saying something for a hostel! Bar seemed good too though I didn't get to join that fun.
Though my stay here was brief, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam!
The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day.

In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam! -
Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10

the house is the side of the canal easy to walk anywhere in Amsterdam plus great friendly welcome when you get back,the room looking over canal,just beautiful, bed very good, room full of antique pieces great place,the family are just superb hosts,you are treated like there extend family,we will vist, again and again, never get tired of the house.

Perfect situation beside one of the biggest and most beautiful canals in Amsterdam. The owners very friendly and helpful. Lovely decor, clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

βολικο,καθαρο,προσωπικο ξενοδοχειου - Το ξενοδοχείο είναι κυριολεκτικά στο κέντρο της πόλης, είναι σχετικά εύκολο να φτάσει κανείς από το αεροδρόμιο, είναι καθαρό και άνετο, με αρκετά εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, ησυχία και ωραίο πρωινό. Έμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένη από τη σχέση αξίας-τιμής.
