I certainly recommend this place as an excellent base for exploring the
city of Amsterdam, whilst being able to retreat to a nice peaceful haven
away from the hustle and bustle. I emailed Rene before our trip and he

The location which was quiet, the breakfasts were great, the bed was large and very compfortable,the coffee maker, the cleanliness of the place the most important of all to us.
The weather was so cold and awfull for our trip, we spent a lot of time on the boat, it was warm, there were hundreds of good DVDs so we watched loads, and fed the swans, and ducks through the open window!

It feels like being at home, while being away. The staff (the owner) is very helpful and you get practically individual attention from him. Whenever you need anything, he is there. Very convenient location in the heart of old Jordaan district with the lovely canal view, yet still in quiet street. Plenty of bars and restaurants around and a decent coffeeshop just round the corner.
The suite itself is spacious and very elegant. Interior is luxurious, yet made with a sense for details.

The room was gorgeous. Very nice simple yet elegant style. The bathroom is beautiful and the beds very comfy. The location is good as it is easy to get anywhere from the apartment. Lovely view from the balcony. We went at a cold time and the heating was timed just right for when we woke up or went to bed. Amazing apartment worth the money. Definatly recommendable.

Right in the center of Amsterdam.The apartment was perfect for sightseeing as it was within walking distance to Dam square and the flea market .You have your own kitchen area and there is a supermarket a few doors away.There is 2 large windows with a few over the canal which was pleasant and the owner was easy to deal with all in all we had a love

The hotel is in a very handy location. It is nicely renovated, beautifully decorated and in a quiet neighborhoodth. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was also a plus. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning. The staff were wonderful, and we will be going back.

We loved everything! Except the stairs. Our room was up 5 floors of
steep stairs but if you can get over that... The rest was awesome!
Extremely clean, very large, very well equipped, great bathroom, large
kitchen area, special comfy beds and very modern. Make to mistake, this
is top notch and shows the owner really cares to make you feel special.

rooms were large,well equipped,massive bed,clean,very good location,not in city centre,but just a very short tram ride away.the location is very good.owners were brilliant and after a quick welcome,left us in total peace.i cannot recommend this place highly enough.a place you will love instead of having to stay in busy noisy hotels,and comparable in price
