Everything you need for a layover at the airport...Shower, tv, coffe and tea pot and close to restaurants. You need a boarding pass to get to it...and maybe a reservation confirmation as we'll as it is located in the transit terminal. Look for signs for the Rijk museum and then you will see signs for the mercure hotel. -

The hotel itself is an excellant design and beautifully finished.; the rooms are very comfortable; no noise penetration from the airport; all of the staff were extremely courteous and efficient; the meal in the restaurant was excellant - To have the hotel so close to the airport was a great benefit. Very well priced for the location, which is a 3 min. walk to the terminal building. - I walked out of the airport, looked to the right and there was the Citizen M. I walked for about 2 minutes and the covered, lighted path led me right to the door of the hotel. I checked in electronically...with an helpful staff person at my side in case I had questions. Loved the free movies, loved the comfort of the bed. Despite being right next to the airport - I didn't hear a single thing.

Attentiveness of staff at front desk. Convenience of room - darkening drapes, amenities. I simply needed a room to sleep for a few layover hours between flights, it was very convenient. - The location is excellent, access to the airport by moving walkways rather than another scheduled bus or taxi ride. Weekend discount rate was very appealing.

This place was perfect for spending the night before departure. I arrived early on the day before I was leaving The Netherlands and while I understandably couldn't get into my room before noon, the staff stored my bags so I could go explore Amsterdam.
They have a very convenient shuttle bus to Schiphol so catching a train into the city is a snap.

Rooms are immaculate, albeit sparse...which is fine for a simple overnight stay. -
Co-located with more expensive Ibis and its restaurant, transportation
services. Better than most Amsterdam hotel rooms at twice the price, and
20 minutes from Museumplein / Amsterdam trams by nearby public bus,
or by hotel shuttle to Schiphol and train to Centraal Station. An
inexpensive, reliable quality way to visit Amsterdam and remain very
close to Schiphol for early morning /late evening travel.

We found the hotel to be more than we expectd. The restaurant hadfairly priced food, the room was adequate and location was perfect forour needs. - I got sick during the night/early morning and the cafe was still open and was able get teas and beverage to settle my stomach

It was clean, comfortable, a delicious breakfast in the morning with very courteous staff. The shuttle was prompt. - The staff are excellent and the hotel superior to other 4* in the vacinity

A beautiful place to stay!
You can take the Ibis/Etap/Novotel bus from the airport and get off at Novotel, then walk one block.
Grocery store is a few blocks away. Good prices there.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.

For value for money this would be the best hotel i have stayed anywhere in the world , staff are extra helpful , rooms very clean and functional , great bar and facilities - Everything, including the free Shuttle Bus to the airport and free Internet access. The Hotel is very good and I will stay there again!

Only stayed overnight before Peru trip. But the hotel has an ideal location and the transfer coaches excellent. - Airport shuttle service. Free WiFi. Both fantastic!

The hotel was very modern with very friendly staff behind the registration desk. The room decor was modern with clean lines, and the room we stayed in had 2 sinks in the bathroom. The hotel is very secure requiring your key badge to access the elevator and hallway doors. We liked the proximity of the hotel to the airport and the shuttle service

'Wet-room' style bathroom with 2 sinks.
Good free Wi-fi.
Good choice of cable TV.
Tea/coffee making.
Next to McDonalds if on a budget.
Good VFM if book ahead esp. mid-week. (Cheaper than an Amsterdam hostel where there is 6 to a room and one shower between 25!)
The huge commercial air industry photo murals of DC3's and Connies etc that adorn this airport hotel.

Excellent hotel: the best price for the best one. Free shuttle to the aiport every twenty minute and after 12 20 in the morning you just need to call them and they will pick you up (you can go to the airport for any reason: to go to the central station by train (very easy ) or to go home) - They offered me the new Woman's Suite without my knowledge

The room is spacious, well-appointed, and clean. The free wireless internet is the smart thing to do for business travelers - no extra charges, no complicated registration, and everything works. - It was nice that shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body milk were supplied. Breakfast was gorgeous and delicious.
