We had a memorable stay in this gem, conveniently situated in the Medina and in walking distance of the Kasbah and old city. It is a boutique hotel with all the necessities and comfort one could wish for. The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood.
That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool.

We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

I have been to many places in different countries. Mnar Castle is one of the very good choices.
The Receptionist girl was thorough professional who handled many guests at the same time. Facilities were excellent. Construction was new and apartment as well as stuff was fresh and clean. location is also best as it oversees a unique place where two oceans meet. lovely morning and evening view.

We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said
that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a
beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak
English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the

The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by
private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of
the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the
parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar.
The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .

Fabulous riad in the old fort area of Tangier. Welcoming and comfortable with lovely views from the rooftop terraces. Walking distance to some good restaurants.
Wonderful breakfast and superb staff. Unfortunately we only had one night but we will return for another longer experience. -

Staff Very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and plenty of food! Perfect location,very close to the boulevard, and only few minutes walking from medina. if you come with your car there is an attended parking at 50 mt. Must mention the terrace with the view of the bay, perfect if you want chill out and sunbathing(also in december)

The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. The rooftop lounge area gave good views. Location quiet and convienient. Included breakfast was to die for. Real care was taken for our every comfort. Very clean and charming house cat.

This is a truly beautiful and unique Ryad & Spa in the heart of my
favorite moroccan Medina. The atention given to even the smallest

It's exactly in the middle of medina, very good to explore the city and to experience Morocco. If you have a car, you can park in Andalus park one night one night for 2€. The staff is very helpfull. -

This was the perfect place to stay in our time in chefchaouen. The Riad offers all the peace and tranquility we wanted once we had had our fill of being busy around the city.
