We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front
of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel is located in Hassilabied village
(4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant
than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip,
it is cleaner and more relaxing. The dunes are better than those ne

Merzouga too. You can walk from hotel to the big dunes by foot, takes
around 15 minutes. The hotel is run by berber family, very nice and
friendly. -
Very clean. Ali has his won teints and camels for the desert that makes all very clean and calm. He has a Land Rover for a 4x4 in the desert. The best guide from all Morroco. At arriving is best to email whit Ali to wait at the Supratours station in Merzouga(better price then the taxi and more confortable)

Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

We had a great time in Riad Mamouche !
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and food were good. There is a lovely garden at the courtyard. You can have breakfast ( in the sun ) on the roof-terrace overlooking the sand-dunes, the oasis and the camels. In the evening you can enjoy the fabulous stars here.
After dinner the staff accompanied us in making music with drums and singing, very amusing. We enjoyed a jeep ride through the desert organized by the Riad: 4 hours enjoying the beautiful

We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged
jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was
nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under
the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got
what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet
friendly people.

one of our highlights!! youssef is the most friendly person. he loves his work and cares about his guest as if they are family. his house is lovely, lots of little details and places to hang out. big rooms, air con and heating, the best breakfast so far with omlette, eggs, freshly made delicious cake, orange juice, joghurt and more and wonderfull

Hamid was very helpful the time we were at Chez Youssef. We changed our schedule at least 3 times because we were sick but it was totally no problem for him. He took good care of us. In the end I was really surprised because he didn't want to charge the room for the last night when my sick friend stayed there and I went to the desert. I think that says enough about him and the place.

We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! W

The Seggoui family goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable
and pleasurable. The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I
have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and
spotless! If you don't stay here while in Merzouga, you are really
missing something very special!

The host Mr. Mustapha is amazing! We were really well treated. Absolutely massive rooms in a stunning complex built right on the dune
line, with bucket loads of character and filled with Moroccan

One of the nicest, friendliest and relaxed places i´ve ever been!
We really enjoyed the fantastic view and the delicious breakfast on the terrace. the rooms were clean, cozy and very stylish equipped. The service was absolutely perfect. The owners of Kasbah Azalay, Hamid, Mohamed (best moroccan driver!!!) and his brothers are doing an awesome job. Always in a good mood. We had a great camel trip and a 4x4 tour around the area.

The hotel could not be situated in a better place-its exactly in the
middle of the dunes. You can enjoy of the pure nature and calmness. The

We spent 2 nights there and the whole staff was very friendly and
helpful. This place is the best place to stay away from cities and crowd
and nearest to the amazing sand dunes and nature. Food was verry good
Mohammed, the owner of this place is very helpful, organized us an
airport transfer in Fez and taxi to Ouarzazate and recommended a riad in
Marrakesh and pick up at Marrakesh bus startion for free! So it's
definately worth to go there
