Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though). The beach below was gorgeous.... you can hire lilos to lounge on as a bit difficult otherwise (pebble beach). -

We enjoyed our brief stay in this lovely hotel.It was comfortable,clean, well-appointed and most of all we enjoyed having our own private little terrace overlooking the beach, with marvellous rattan chaises longues to sit on. It was end of season and hardly anyone around so it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. No breakfast, but

- Excelent staff, very helpful and friendly. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. They also took us to the port by car.
- The restaurant is really good, with great pasta and fish.

Alessio, Silvio, Francesca, and Stefan were wonderful and welcoming in
every way. It made for a family type of environment, which was
absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the islands. I would definitely
recommend Mamma Santina without hesitation.

We were very impressed by the way staff arranged all transfers particularly because we did not speak Italian. The desk staff were wonderful. Such a relief to be able to communicate in English. Loved the place. -

A great hotel if you want to be in a quiet location. We were very lucky with the room (we had a little house away from the main building) with a great view of the sea. The pool is priceless, wonderful view. Staff was friendly. Go for the aperitivo! Great drinks and wonderful local snacks from 6 to 9pm. -

This hotel is a small paradise. The hotel only has six rooms. Each of them are very private with each their own terrace. The best thing is the main terrace which has stunning views to the sea and stromboli in good weather. The hotel has no swimming pool so it is indeed very quiet.

Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast. Also positive is the location with sea view and a large swimming pool area. -

Friendliness of staff, stunning views, relaxed atmosphere and terrific evening meals! - The infinity pool has the most amazing view and our room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. The restaurant had a very interesting menu and the terrace makes a perfect place to enjoy breakfast with the stunning views across to Stromboli.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Residence Arcangelo. All the staff were very helpful and made sure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Archangelo was always interested in how we were enjoying the island of Salina, he also made sure that we had whatever we may have needed to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone as a base to explore the Island. We thank you Arcangelo and staff for a memorable 4 days of island life.
