At the arrival not so sure about this place.
Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!

Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed (and I know a lot of 4 stars in Europe). Fantastic decorated rooms in a 18th century building. Great breakfast (every thing of top quality). A choice of class. - It is not an anonymous hotel, you feel almost at home. The room was veryclean, quite and spacious. Having breakfast in the small garden was verynice, a good start for the day.The location is very convenient, it isvery close to the center of the city but you don't feel like being in atouristic area. The staff was extremely nice and competent. Definitely awonderful stay in Catania!

What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. He gave us recommendations of Catania.
The room was just excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town.

Everything. The hotel is situated rather close to the Central Station, it is easy to find a street. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. -
Fairly close to the major attractions. The room was beautifully furnished. Breakfast was brioche, cereals, juice, yogurt and coffee. -

As soon as you get into the hotel you will feel like home!with a lot of privacy. You don't rent just a room but the entire structure. Nice and curate spaces, with style and design. Front desk always helpfull, gives you a lot of tips of where to go and to do in Catania and surroundings. The stucture is located just few steps from the city centre. T

The hotel is on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

the location was great and the pick up by taxi as we arrived very late it was good to see a taxi driver with the name of the hotel waiting in arrivals. The staff were excellent. Especially Sergi and Fina. they made our stay very nice. Helped also with checking times for transport. - Thie is the best hotel we stayed during our 3 weeks trip to Ita

Great location in the centre of Catania overlooking Plaza Duomo. Noisy during the day......not a problem as we weren't there! 3 mins walk to the bus station to/from the airport. - great location on the piazza duomo, beside the fish market and at the foot of via etnea. you cannot get any more sicilian.

This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.
