proximity to the bus stop of the direct bus from the train station - Locations was excellent even though it was just outside the walls. Parking was key! Loved that I didn't have to drive the narrow streets with all the pedestrian traffic. Breakfast was good and fresh. Coffee was excellent!

Absolutely beautiful area.Tre Esse has Assisi on the hill as backdrop--abour 4km away.It's a good escape from busy cities. It was a shame we could not appreciate the verandah (with a view) and chairs under olive trees! A special place! -

This country house is my favorite place that I've stayed at during 26day-winter trip. I'd definate -
Second stay @ Il Roseto. Came back because it was so good the first
time. Massimo and family again great hosts. Il Roseto has great charm
and character, with a view of Assisi from the dining room that cannot be
matched. La Signora is sensational (93 yrs of age) and still in
everthing. Thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Assisi and
is just 12 minutes walking distance away.

The peace and quiet, and the beauty of the location are fantastic! The bed was one of the best I've ever slept on; staff were helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was out of this world wonderful! I would certainly stay here again. - A real luxurious pearl in the middle of an immensely impressive nature reserve, on top of a mountain !!

Rita was attentive before we even arrived. She advised us of parking
(which is in a secure public lot a ways from the B&B) and offered
help with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that
she had upgraded us to a spacious "suite" complete with a
nicely equipped, small kitchen (in which we prepared a dinner of local

Very central. Good security staff while only on site for breakfast went out of their way to help us including picking us up from ports nova bus depot and taking us up the hill in their car which was appreciated by New Zealand travellers who had been travelling over 25 hours to get to this first port of stay. The bed was very comfortable so comfortable we were able to come back to property for a nap before dinner and that was only a few steps very reasonable pizza and restaurant. Cannot say enou

Right in the center of the city. Stayed Rome the night before for same price and got bathroom outside room, and peeling wallpaper. This place is a gem.

The front desk staff were very helpful and the overall atmosphere in the public areas was relaxed and comfortable. The location right in the Centre of medieval Assisi is excellent for basing yourself in. The breakfast provides a big selection of options - we were a bit surprised that other reviewers rated this as poor! -

We would happily recommend this hotel. Our room (Rosa) looking through its French doors had a great view of Assisi and the lower town. The rooftop common room had a full 360 degree panorama that is breathtaking. This inn is a jewel. It is a third-generation hotel run by Stephano and
his family. His sister and mother run a restaurant in town with
authentic Italian cuisine. Breakfast at the inn consisted of meats,
