The owner Yannis is amazing. He is very helpful, friendly and most important he focuses on guests experience overall, which makes a huge difference. The fact that the hotel does not offer breakfast is easil -
First of all the owner is a great guy. He was very helpful, honest and told us everything we need to know about where to swim, where to eat, where to go out.
The room was very clean. The one that we stayed was small but funcional and very cozy.
Wifi was working perfectly.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Πολυ εξυπηρετικοι και ευγενικοι το προσωπικο και οι ιδιοκτητες. Τα δωματια ειναι καθαρα και πολυ ευχαριστα για διαμονη. -
Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε σωστή θέση με το λιμάνι και την πόλη. ΤΟο προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό .

The hotel is very conveniently located with stair free access, less than a couple of minutes' walk from the port. Absolutely wonderful host - met us at the dock, helped with the luggage, accommodated our family with next-door rooms. He even helped take the luggage back to the boat the day we left - way above and beyond! The wireless connection was excellent at the hotel, which is often not true. The kitchenette was great for making breakfast for the family before leaving for the day. Charming, simple rooms with lovely balconies and private baths.

Had only planned to stay 3 days extended it to 5 days, Staff are fantastic, rooms are fabulous and very very clean, comes complete with dvd's for that relax after a days walk up the mountains, coffee making facilities, location is brilliant, so quite. Nice large patio to sit and have breakfast with all of the fresh produce.In a word brilliant -

Nereids Guesthouse was a perfect place to spend a few days in Hydra. We stayed at the deluxe room and it was even better than in the pictures.
The location was a nice 5min walk from the harbor
Things I liked were:
-The room had a very nice interior design with wooden beams on the roof and an excellent view
-Additionally, our room was perfect clean

-Beautiful building made out of stone and marble
-Many different verandas where every guest can -
Nereids is a really charming guest house with amazing views up the mountain and down to Hydra town. The rooms were beautiful (exposed original stone and beams) and clean, and there are numerous terraces from which to enjoy the views. The manager/owner Costas could not have been more friendly or helpful. Highly recommended, although note that the property does feature some decidedly steep steps!

The Hydroussa is excellent value for money. The breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. The staff is cordial and in Greek fashion efficient but uncommunicative. The location is excellent being removed from the busy port. The courtyard is extremely pleasant and a great place to relax. This is my second stay and I would recommend the hotel

Everything, from friendly and responsive personnel to the tidy, elegant and spacy rooms. There is a terrace in front of the hotel where you can have breakfast or sit with a laptop. The building is a three-minute walk from the port, but it is far enough to stay away from the busy area. I passed eight nights at this hotel and I would certainly stay there again.

It was only one day but I wanted to stay a few more days after seeing how wonderful it is.
I didn't reserve breakfast but in the morning when i saw those spectacular dishes i could not resist the temptation.
George and Irene the owners were very friendly, nice family. I will definitely go there on my next trip to Hydra.

Friendly staff who helped guide us around the island and allowed us a
late check out. Room was very clean and comfortable. We did not try the
breakfast. Great terrace for views. Very relaxing. -
