It was very quiet and private. The room was very nice and the view was spectacular. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. - A clean hotel with everything you need and no wasted money on unnecessary frills.

Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good. Though the price was a little expensive, it's worth the value. -

Big fluffy pillows, warm pool, eco friendly, friendly owners serve breakfast, nice path from hotel up and around mountain into town. Decent price, i paid 212Euro for 3 nights. - The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was so good.

The location couldn't be bettered. Restaurants either direction, very close to bus stop, shopping area. If coming by train, would need a taxi or bus to get to the hotel as the town is on a hillside. The hotel is very quiet. We had the luxury of 2 rooms to ourselves. Reception was helpful. Loved the idea of having the laundrette next door. -

The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
We really loved this hotel and will stay again.

Two minutes walk to the lake of Königssee.
Free guest card for visitors. Although I had purchased the Bayern Ticket and did not use the guest card, it is still quite useful for those without a Bayern Ticket as the guest card allows visitors to take local buses for free.
Very quiet at night as all the shops will be closed early in the evening.

Rooms were comfortable and they had nice balconies that looked out onto the surrounding mountains. Lady at front desk was actually very helpful although she seemed a bit gruff at first.

The innkeepers are really nice, they prepared local transport information for us. The room was very cozy and was cleaned every day during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and egg. Each of two bus stops is about 3 to 5 minutes away, even walking distance to the Berchtesgaden HBF is just about 15 minutes. -

Very friendly and helpful staff, always in a good mood and making jokes.
Breakfast was simple but we could order as much as we wanted. Very cozy
and typical restaurant/stube. Walking distance from Berchtesgaden
and busconnections. Beautiful environment next to the river and close to

The location is great, just across the train/bus station, so you will be thankful that you don't need to drag luggage up to the hills where most of the other hotels locate. The price (80 euro for a double room one night) is OK considering the taxi fare up to the hills saved. The room is very clean, bed is nice, though the rooms in annex building do not have elevators and shower/restroom a bit small yet very clean. The breakfast buffet is good. i will definitely stay in this hotel again. very comfort bed, the staffs are very friendly, i arrived the hotel in the midnight, and they prepared everything for me before my arrival. from this hotel you can see Alps mountain just from your room. very nice location. i walked to Konigssee through a mountain road(which is recommended by the staff),

This is one of the most wonderful guest houses I have ever seen. Everything is perfect. The staff is very friendly. Beautiful location, large room with balcony and large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Very clean and comfortable (Although beds too soft for our taste). Good breakfast in the mornings and bike hire available. We had no car but it was an easy walk from train station (half an hour flat walk along the river). They also gave us free bus pass which we didn't end up using on our stay but could be useful. Typical beergarden/restaurant in the local village (500m away).
