  This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. The room was huge and fantastic with two big bathrooms. Breakfast was great!   Being a hostel as well as a hotel, this hotel is more suited to groups and young couples, although people of all ages were staying there. The price was excellent for the quality of the rooms.   KG Apartments are run by a wonderful couple, Magdalena and Andrzej who from our initial contact extended themselves to ensure I had a good stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, and located in a great neighborhood just a short tram ride from Alexanderplatz and within walking distance of Prenzlauerberg's shopping streets and cafes. However, it was the friendly and outstanding service and availability of Magdalena and Andr - I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay for a few days! The location was perfect - there were markets right outside your doorsteps, cool little cafe's and shops right around the corner, and close to public transport. We have two small children, and the neighborhood was very family friendly with parks all around it. The apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet, easily accessible, and the perfect size for 4 people. The hosts were very nice. It was a perfect stay!
