The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The
hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just
yards away from the magnificent cathedral. The location was central to
town, and parking was really convenient. The hotel is small, and I guess
that's why it's only a 2 star hotel - though it feels more like

The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and
were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters.
The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was
delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right
behind the rooms in the annex.

A wonderful old, quirky hotel right in the middle of Bayeux literally a stone's throw from the tapestry museum and the cathedral with great restaurants, cafes and bars right on its doorstep. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

We also had a special request due to unforeseen circumstances to slightly extend the time to vacate one of the rooms which was dealt with in a thoroughly sympathetic and helpful manner, for which we are very grateful. - Great place for a family, room was spacious and clean.Would highly recommend.Staff was polite and helpful.

Completely renovated in 2015, La Tour Louise Guesthouse is just 20 km from Caen, in the centre of Bayeux. Its rooms and suites have independent entrances and feature a fireplace and parquet floors.

The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights. Many restaurants nearby.

Intimate French setting. Being American, and wanting to experience a true feel of local France, we enjoyed the quiet remoteness of the location. The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was very good, with homemade pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit and an array of beverages. Bathroom was large, almost larger than the room, with an area for hanging clothing and an in-room safe. Information regarding the surrounding area was provided in French and English.

We really enjoyed our two night stay in Bayeux, the highlight of which was staying at this wonderful B&B. Run with loving and personal care by Carol and Jerome, the place is charming. It is extremely conveniently located to the old city center, including the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral, and is a great base from which to visit D-Day sites.

Superb breakfasts that changed daily, attention to detail in the bedroom
and bathroom, having the bed made and clean towels each day,

Le Clos des Pommiers has beautiful bedrooms in a lovely house - very modern and chic. It's perfectly located just outside Bayeux, so you have the best of both worlds. It's surrounded by lush countryside, so you can feel completely away from it all, yet it's just a short drive to Bayeux.
