Very small rooms, but clean and comfortable. Quiet location except for two guard dogs next door!! Adequate breakfast. Recommend for inexpensive overnight in a country that is expensive. - The hotel is comfortable and clean. Very silent too.

The decor in the hotel is a little dated but the warmth and welcome of the staff more than make up for this. Comfy beds, lots of pillows and towels, this hotel is excellent value for money.

Friendly staff. Gave me biker mate a free coffee on Sun morning! Got thebooking at short notice so very glad of any bed at that stage :] - professional staff and clean room. Good breakfast in restaurant, but fairly poor if ordered to room.

It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

Free parking first of all. This was a wonderful hotel. The young lady ar reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good value but need to replace items quickly when they run out. Bathrooms are excellent. Air conditioning very effective and quiet. Don't be put off by the fact the hotel can look "closed" when you turn up.

L'Oustal is a great place to stay and within a short walk to Bourges centre. We arrived on a very wet evening and was warmly greeted by Sophie, who gave us great information on Bourges and a map, which was great as we were only there for one night. Owner Sophie was a charming hostess who made us feel instantly at home. The whole house is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Breakfast with all the guests around the same table also added to the relaxed, friendly feeling of staying in a French country home. We were offered the use of a couple of bicycles too which enabled us to enjoy the city and surrounds even more. A wonderful stay.

Everything about the hotel has been arranged for the convenience of the guest, from the wifi connection to the breakfast layout. As examples of the quality of the hotel the shower had a Grohe thermostatic valve. Tissues and toilet paper are Kimberly Clark. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and peaceful with cleverly designed layout making the most of the space available. The range of breakfast food and drink was good too. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This was a luxurious one night stay for us. The owners are lovely and are suceeding in their endeavours to stay ahead of the competition. I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms

Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an
