We had a fantastic welcome. David was so friendly and extremely accommodating. He provided a complete breakfast and lots of information about the town and activities to to. The room was great. It comes with everything included, good shower, towels, soap breakfast table and tea and coffee. If you go to Ypres, stay here! It is everything you need and more!. Good size room with sitting area and table, tea/coffee making supplies. Large ensuite bathroom. Clean and simply decorated. Fresh breakfast delivered to the door. Owner pleasant and helpful. Two minutes walk from Menin Gate and free street parking. Good value for 65 euro a night.
όλα τα σχόλια » David is an excellent host who was very welcoming friendly and helpful. The B&B is very clean and tidy with a comfortable bedroom and good bathroom. It is in an excellent location only a minute's walk from the town square and Menin Gate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very friendly, welcoming host. Couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic location less than 2 minutes walk from the Menin Gate. Free parking available on street right outside front door. Free WiFi in room. Finest breakfast of our European tour. The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable with a beautiful large bath. Friendly owner and good information. Located in a quiet street but very close to the main square and Menin gate. We stayed during cold January week and heating turned off from 10:30pm to 6:30am on first night, however the owner agreed to leave it on for the rest of our stay so suggest if staying during cold weather to ask for heating to stay on. Nothing to not like. The signage out front is very small and hard to spot. This may be dictated by municipal rules. The stairway would be a challenge for those with larger packs or suitcases but aw we had only small bags on this trip wasn't an issue for us. Bit of a walk to the train station (20 minutes). Nothing-it was all good!. The B&B was rather hard to find without a map in the night. Only 1 detail.....cannot check in till 5.30pm.....should have phoned to ask if earlier possible....my fault. not much parking close to B&B.
