It's convienent location and lovely customer service - It was close to everything, so convenient and the staff were helpful when we asked for directions and some silly quesitons.

the staff were very friendly and helpful the foyer had a beautiful perfume smell the hotel was in a perfect spot about 50 meteres to the Victoria markets and walking distance to the city. taxis and trams were just out the front deli across the road that was opened till late the café was just through the foyer doors will definatley book there agai

Love the location near the Victoria markets. Easy access to Lygon Street and trams to Carlton, Brunswick, North Melbourne. Close to rental car pick-up. Surprised how good the healthy breakfast was and coffee. Excellent value.

The hotel is on the upper reaches of the CBD close to the Victoria Market and opposite to the Flagstaff Gardens. Ten minutes walking will get you into central Swanson Street.

The staff were superb. Everyone, from the people on the desk to the cleaning staff to the people in the restaurant at breakfast time were polite, helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome without being 'in your face'. The breakfasts were very impressive with a great choice of fresh, delicious food and coffee made to order. The fresh fruit platter was an unexpected, very appreciated highlight on arrival. I can't say enough good things about the Alto and staff . The room was clean ,comfortable and had little extras that made you feel at home.I had a mini box of chocolates and a welcome note waiting in my room as well as my luggage that they had kept secure for me for a week I was traveling to Caines . Walking distance to Southern Cross and Etihad

We pretty much got exactly what was advertised. It wasn't much, but it was clean, comfortable and an enjoyable relief to come back to after spending the daytime being a tourist. The bar/cafe/bistro/whatever is 'okay' but with far more exciting places all around you'd be mad not to head outside anyway and I don't think anything needs to change ther

Hot shower with good pressure.
Friendly, helpful staff on reception.
I am very impressed by the attitude and immediate response of staff on reception following the disturbance during early hours on Monday 14th November by workmen cleaning a grease trap.
I am very grateful for their acknowledgment and appreciation of the inconvenience.

I feel like I'm staying in a living museum when I'm at The Hotel Windsor. That's what I love most, as an anthropologist.

Room service meal was soooooo tasty and everyone was lovely there. I liked the fact that they had a system in place that allowed guests to use the same towels if they wanted to in order to save water which is great. What I would have also liked to see is a recycle bin in our room so we can put our aluminium, paper, cardboard, plastic and glass.

Room was comfortable and clean. Booked a kingsize twin premium room but
put in twin mediocre room. Complained to management and they changed
room next day to superior kingsize but not twin beds. Worked out ok

The locations was handy for the three locations we had to visit.
the Reception staff were efficient, and friendly.
The room we were eventually given was clean, comfortable and quiet. It appears to have been recently renovated.
The Hotel is located close to many attractions and restaurants.
It appears that some rooms are better than others and that only some are as described in the
Hotel's description.
The buffet breakfast was pleasant and adequate but not sumptuous as described.

Arriving on a delayed flight into Melbourne via Sydney from Hawaii, we expected all sorts of problems upon arriving very late at the Somerset.
However, I must complement their staff, in particular Paul Dale, who were very helpful and understanding.
We have stayed at the Somerset on a number of occasions and I must say the staff, and in particular

i like there are lots of electric and home appliances, like microwave oven, washing machine, stove, etc. There are shops and supermarkets nearby thus cooking in the room is very convenient esp. my mother is a vegetarian. It also near the melbourne central, queen victoria markets. And many tourist points can be reach on foot. (If you don't mind to walk)

staff were exceptionally helpful. The beds were so comfortable. Even
loved the fact that there was a bathtub which meant we could soak our
weary feet and legs after a good day out and about. -
Have stayed at Rydges 2009, 2011 and now 2013. I would still recommend.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the River View room, and were delighted with the views.
The spectacular fireworks display on the Yarra river was a wonderful bonus.

Staff make or break any business and with that there is clean, hygienic - for me there is no compromise.
Adina management is to be congratulated for looking after their people and maintaining happy staff.
Staff who love going to work in turn make for happy and satisfied customers.

A group of friends had a great stay in a spacious 3 bedroom penthouse apartment. An upgrade I could get used to!!
Found the location to be very central with leisurely walk to many attractions and trams.
