The Bombora Resort offers an outdoor pool and an onsite restaurant. It is a short 3-minute walk to Coolangatta's Griffith Street and only 5 minutes’ walk to Coolangatta’s beaches. Guest rooms are fitted with a mini fridge, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite bathroom comes with a shower. The staff at the tour desk can assist with arranging Bombora Day Tours, operated by the resort’s own coach. The Reef Restaurants serves a variety of home-style meals for breakfast and dinner. Bombora Resort Gold Coast is 5 minutes’ drive from Gold Coast Airport and 10 minutes from Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a 10-minute drive away.

We found Bombora Resort nice and peaceful with a great view over the park. Not to mention close to at least 3 supermarkets & many bars / cafés / restaurants. Easy & close links to motorway with airport not far though not heard. Not brand new or five star but brilliant value for money. Count on us to stay again as its great place to rest yer head after a day out at the nearby beach or theme parks only 40mins up the motorway. Give the place a go, you won't regret it. :-).

While it is an older property, it is comfortably furnished and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is value for money. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Proximity to shops, beach & clubs. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast provided at reasonable price. Walking distance to main shops, beach and some clubs. Cleaning staff asked daily if everything was ok and topped up tea/coffee etc. Close to Coolangatta beach, shops, pubs, restaurants etc and in a quiet location. Nice short stroll to activity of Coolangatta. Budget friendly, clean and comfortable for those who are outside all day and need a place to sleep. The staff at the Bombora resort were very friendly and helpful, Sandra even lent me her umbrella after I checked out because it was poring with rain and I wanted to go get a coffee. Much appreciated :) highly recommended!. Cheap, clean, comfortable, close to everything but at a very reasonable cost. I have already recommended bombora to my in laws for the above reasons as they are heading up in June/July. Staff were very welcoming and accomidating, letting us check in early as the room was ready rather than make us wait. The 3 bedroom apartment was very clean and staff very friendly. The hotel outlook was great sitting on the balcony. Sun all afternoon. Location was also good - 2 minute walk into town/beach. We have stayed here before and will be back again!. Good room, large bathroom, very friendly staff - both on reception and cleaning. Pretty garden and pool and very pleasant view over the adjacent park. Perfectly organised our one night there with late check in and early check out. Very quite place with comfy bad and simple facilities at your disposal. The room was clean and had all of the things one would expect to have for a comfortable night's rest before being at the airport by 6am. The room covered all our needs. Nice rooms, swimming pool, all good!. clean & comfortable great breakfast, and the friendly staff made up for the old motel state, i would book again. It was budget friendly ($90 per night is not too bad for two people), not sure how gay friendly it is though. - Kitchen amenities, excellent. - Beautiful surrounding with full tranquility. - Room space, just ok. -. Good rooms with large and comfortable beds. Quiet near to Coolangatta beach and places of good food. The only suggestion that could be made is that a new dryer in the laundry would be a good idea!. Only a kettle & tea/coffee making facilities provided. No plates, cutlery, microwave or toaster provided in room however breakfast was available at reasonable price in dining room. Breakfast serving time finished too early for those who went out the night before. Not quite enough onsite parking available. I prefer a mug for tea/coffee rather than a small cup. That I had to leave. I had some difficulty with the cold water tap in the shower - difficult to turn on. Parking was inadequate. There was a neon light shinning into the room that I had! Unfortunately the curtains are too thin to block out this annoying light!. Nothing to not like. No A/C in the room on ground level. No condom machine... just a bit old, worn out carpet rusty old table and balcony, and the soap was like wax,. Nothing. 9am housekeeping! Would have liked at least one lie-in!!. Not enough car parks and no parking on the street directly outside the motel. The Chef wasn't helpful so we didn't eat there because we felt he couldn't be bothered. We only received 1 towel after our room was serviced. Room not clean. Bathroom very tiny but good value for money and we would certainly return. The rain. Nothing. limited car parking. Lack of car parks, temperature adjustments required when showering. The many stairs if you are on the 3rd floor. I booked from W.A. and met my 90yr old mother there. My receipt and booking confirmation stated we would be ground floor, but that was not so. My mother found difficulty getting up and down the stairs, to our room and the restaurant. Bare brick walls in room. Fan didnt go to fast. Lack of parking. nothing. No hot water when we arrived 9.30pm. Lights that didn't work and power point broken(worked but not by switch). On reporting power point staff said they did not know it was broken. nothing. nothing. I was charged twice I only wanted one room and they at Bombora Resort told us that we booked two room. We are a couple and only need one room. Why did you do this to us we not happy and want our refund back on the other room. We are deaf so couldn't use the phone. Margaret. Cleaning lady was grumpy and barged into my room one day. Reported burn mark on furniture and power point hanging out of wall (these were done before my stay) and nothing was done. The double bed we asked for was two single beds put together which was very uncomfortable. The water for the bathrooms needs to be fixed, its hard to get the temperature right and when a person opens a tap, it becomes too hot or cold depending on what they opened. - Toilet came without hose spray - The swimming pool as per image online was just a pond for baby. - After 6pm appeared to be without security service (Reception counter/ office closed and nobody to be approached to.). I thought it is in Gold Coast but actually it's not. Coolangatta is a bit far away from Gold Coast. It takes us more than 2 hrs to get to the hotel by train than bus.
