The swim-out apartment was spacious and clean. The rooms, bathrooms,
kitchen and laundry equipments were in good condition. Craig, one of the
reception staffs there, was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us
many information about the day trips to Daintree rain forest and the

Excellent place to stay in Cairns. 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre. A spacious apartment, very clean. Great help from the staff. We booked a swim out apartment which was well worth the extra money. Highly recommended.

As a Local of 33 years we like to treat one self to a bit of luxury. We have stayed here before an loved it. Rooms are very clean n have had a bit of a refurb an look great. Had in room dinning an the food was great, as was the service. Had a in room spa which was relaxing. Was on the second floor did not find road noise to bad. Very fast checkin

Love the bed, not the usual two pushed together but a genuine kind size bed! Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

The staff were always very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to look after us. We were given a free upgrade to a double bathroom lux villa to accomodate our family of 6.
The pools were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed the splash park, jumping pillows, and playground. -

My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much!
The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure. The location of YHA also very convenience to reach the market and airport too! -

The staff at this hotel are probably the most friendly, helpful, professional staff I've ever come across - and I worked in hospo for 8 years! Staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The horizon club area + pool side was very clean. The horizon club had a very good deal with the breakfast buffet plus the coffee/tea/drinks throughout the day + the evening canapes. The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern
facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the
1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in
and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a
Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but

of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely
helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits.
The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from
the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights
for our next Cairns holiday!

We stayed in Coral Tower from the 27th of November till the 2nd of December, 2013. On the arrival we were met by a friendly receptionist. Fabulous location! We enjoyed a 20 min walk to Muddy's playground. A wonderful playground for kids and nice cafe stop for Mum and Dad! It was a very pleasant 30 min stroll into the centre of Cairns. we had a warm welcome from Sandy and an unexpected upgrade. You won't regret booking to stay here. The apartment was clean, well equipped, very relaxing with a stunning view of the Esplanade. It is a wonderful choice if traveling with young children.

Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. Location was convenient to the "Esplanade" and local shopping and restaurants.
The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us.
The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

We stayed twice at the Pullman International Cairns on this trip. Two nights on the way to Port Douglas and one night on the way back. On the way to Port Douglas we arrived at ten thirty and our room was ready. It was clean, tasteful and had a great view all over Cairns. We just had the best time at your hotel.... We had dinner at Cocos then a complimentary breakfast the next morning which was part of our accommodation package ... Your staff are the most friendly, easy going people we have come across in any hotel we have ever stayed at, even the guys who park our car to the the valet who brings our bags to our room.... 6 star in our books.... I found all of the staff very friendly , welcoming and efficient. Special praise goes to Rob McKenzie and his reception staff - I thought they were all brilliantly helpful when answering all of my questions. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others. - Great location and great facilities. Free shuttle into town was very good.
