The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived till the moment we departed. Even our request for a dinner reservation at another restaurant across town was made without any bother and even arranged taxi for us. Bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was fairly spacious and clean. Proximity of other restaurants and some shops in the Emporium Plaza was a pleasant plus. Shopping, bars, restaurants and cafes in John Street were within easy walking distance. Nearest Ci.

Clean Eygyptian cotton white hygenically washed bed linen instead of re used bedspread expected for 5 star. Fabulous decor, wonderful attentive staff, 24 hour service, great location so close to excellent shops and restaurant and relaxing roof top pool. Value for money. Unlike a huge number of luxury hotels, you really do feel welcome here. From check-in to check-out the concierge staff addressed us by name and went the extra mile to get every request 100% right. Although the décor (and clientele in the cocktail bar) is ultra-trendy, the hospitality is firmly old school. Lance was really helpful when I arrived as so was the receptionist. I had spent 3 days travelling and was exhausted, i arrived at 9:00am and they managed to get me checked in early so i could relax and refresh. They were very helpful and friendly yet professional. Loved this hotel. Very friendly staff, luxurious bedding, very practical room with washer and dishwasher. Plenty of free bottles of water. Turndown service with chocs. Great pool and loungers. Excellent choice of eateries on doorstep. Everything was great, the staff were exceptional - it was funny though that our keys to our rooms wouldn't work and even replacement keys. We had to get escorted to the room to make sure we could get in on our wedding night. Young staff were efficient, helpful, friendly, but never obsequious.Stunning design/decor, carefully maintained.Bottles of water left on passenger seat after return of car from valet parking a great idea. nothing we asked for was too much for the staff, they were so attentive. Internet charges at hotel are expensive and as with most hotels wi-fi connectin can be a bit hit and miss. You expect value for money. Reduce the daily rates or vastly improve the service. Couldn't fault it and we are usually very picky!. If I'm forced to find a fault, the best I can come up with is that charging mini-bar prices for the coffee in the suite feels a bit tight fisted. it was a very long walk from the town centre ( I had lots of luggage ) but i should have got a taxi!. Issues with booking with a Visa, wanted to pay with a Matercard and then paid with Eftpos - we ended up paying $1500 for a room $359 - but Petrice was exceptional in getting this rectified. Cupboard space in room very small. Not a problem for an overnight stay, but would be if staying longer.would like a breakfast room serving a buffet breakfast. nothing. having to leave. nothing comes to mind. Pillow selection could be better. Only one red wine minibar choice at $40 - too expensive. Room layout was difficult to watch movie/tv - could be chair?. Bond...retaining the whole amount of nights stay including the $100 bond..is excessive..only bond should be retained and not the amount of nightly fee...as u have credit card details as well and that should suffice!. absolutely nothing. It was a positive experience I had no dislikes during my stay . Nothing. Too many pillows to choose from. It's like trying to pick what type of pizza you want to order. room (deluxe suite) was small but balcony size does make up for it. Warm champagne that I had at pool side. Being charged for car parking. nothing. The only thing was hearing the lift late at night and early morning. The room was a little small, desk was very small. The only thing the place was missing was a hottie outside. Stereo was a bit quiet on external plug from iphone. Not enough time to enjoy everything. Not much point having a washing machine, when I have to find a shop to buy washing powder! And the laundry service is very limited for a 5 star hotel. New system for internet access is not an improvement. nothing at all. Price. The price is always a little steep. Small rooms and not enough seating around the pool. Was shocked at my telephone bill of $87.50 to make call to NOOSA...this is outrageous!!. Location was a bit off the beaten track and has no views. cost, when considering location (average) and the fact that there wasnt really anything that stood out as being far superior to similar options in the cbd. The spa area is poor, their chage for every thing extra, Internet , parking,also the late check out,. Paying the same price for a corner suite, and being given the one on the 3rd floor which is smaller than the other suites (I know this as I have stayed in the other suites). If it's not the same as the others, then it should not be the same price. Very disappointing, particularly as I have stayed there a number of times.
