I liked that the hotel was central to everything. Very roomy room. Clean

Checked in after hours and the intercom didn't work properly. I had to keep repeating myself. After hours service was very poor.I could hear other call centre staff taking in the background, and it was confusing to hear who was actually taking to me.

Convenient. Just a 15 minute walk from Queens Street and a 1 min walk to the Brisbane transit Centre. Spacious.

always stay at the Abbey excellent location for South Bank and Transit station. Always recommend it to friends when staying in Brisbane and find it to be great value for money.

Rooms were tidy and well appionted

As we arrived after hours we had some diffiulty getting in and finding where we had to go and as we arrived in about 11:00pm and had to leave early this was annoying and exhausting.

Only minor but desk in room dangerous so wobbly couldn't put anything on it reading light on bed wouldn't go mentioned it to reception first day day seven still not fixed room could do with an extra hard clean

Staff were brilliant. And close to everything. Roma street station right across the road. Short walk to Queen street mall, South bank, Loved It

The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

Fire alarm went off at 5am. I wish they had a convenient way for someone to cancel the fire alarm easily without having to evacuate the entire building at a ridiculous hour. Also the carpet in all the rooms I have seen so far are disgustingly dirty. They look like they haven't been cleaned for decades. A lot of the furnishings in the other rooms are so daggy. They could make so much more money if they did the place up a bit.

Having kitchen and own laundry was great. Very comfortable bed. Loved having a bath. Easy to get to from main road.

Unit was older, so carpet had strains and sofa had worn areas. But if these were replaced, it would have been perfect. Being woken at 5.30am by idiot leaf blower across street!!! Not Abbey fault though.

We found the place quite satisfactory for our stay. It is an older building but the unit was comfortable and clean.

The convenience of the transportation in all forms right at your doorstep. No need for a car. Considering its on a corner of a busy street, the apartments are soundproof quiet. Open plan and comfortable clean. Depending on your budget. But we were very happy with the location of the apartments.

They need to upgrade their old apartments. And the balcony area is filthfy, couldnt have breakfast outside as the balcony was sticky and dirty. The apartments has a spa and pool but the spa was broken. It heats up but has no bubbles once it was fixed.

Clean, comfortable room with everything that you need. Great position, Roma Street train station across the road if your not up to the half hour walk into the CBD.

I like the location I like the apartment. Very clean

We stayed for a week & didn't have enough sugar & coffee we have to keep going down reception to get more but apart from that the place is very nice & clean

We have stayed a few times now and have only had one older tired apartment. They seem to have most of them revamped now. Neat clean and tidy.

We were told that they would be soon charging for parking, $20 per night. Why not just put all the rooms up $5 a night to cover parking. No one will notice the small rise, but will buck at a parking fee.

Location was great. Staff very obliging and friendly.

Air-conditioning vents and other vents could have been cleaned. They were dirty and you could see dirt and dust along the path of the air-con outlet. The vents in the kitchen also had built up dirt and grim.

The location to city & Airport train is wonderful. Good area to meet up with friends. Roma Street parkland was a city treat I would recommend, easy walking, cool & refreshing. Will stay again.

Our bed in 303 was saggy & the air con. didn't seem to work.

1. Reception does not open till 9.00am - many trains & buses arrive around 6.00am 2. No lounge chairs - just the wide,uncomfortable lounge

the apartments are within walking distance to the CBD and adjacent to the train station

The carpet looked grubby and there were toenail clippings on the bedroom floor. We both managed to stand on sharp clippings so the carpet had not been vacummed prior to our arrival. There was a dirty hand towel left in the bathroom. There looked to be a blood splatter on the wall in the foyer.

Bed moved when leaning against detached headboard. No jug/container for cold water in fridge. No grab rail for getting in and out of bath/shower.

I loved the fact that I could smoke on the balcony and was not treated like a leper because I chose to

Proximity to the Roma Rail Station & the shopping district and river, Comfortable bed and other facilities fine.

Shower drain couldn't cope with the water and nearly overflowed. Tiles on lower walls of the shower needed cleaning . Notice re. cost should the smoke detectors go off, and warning that the build up of steam could trigger the alarm

The staff and position were excellent. The security was good and it was roomy.

We stayed for 4 nights and were told a mini-service would be done but that didn't occur. The bed, whilst comfortable, really was in need of an upgrade. We booked and paid the slightly higher tariff for what we thought was an apartment with a washing machine and dryer but they weren't in the unit. My sister also stayed there, paid a lesser tariff and had a washing machine and dryer.
