  This stay was primarily used to have a hot shower in the AM. I am in Durham everyday commuted from Harnett county, but had a shutdown scheduled for Tuesday at 4AM. Rather that drive back home only to go straight to bed to be able to be on site at 3:30AM, I opted to stay in Durham and had intended to just catch a few winks in my trailer and 'bird b... was die leute sagen » ath it'. But fortunately Brookwood offered a rate and location that made it a 'no brainer' to book a room. This allowed me to sleep comfortably and ha - My first night there, my airconditioner did not work. I reported it the next morning, when I returned that day, a brand new wall unit had been placed. They fixed the problem quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. I have to return next month for two more weeks of training. I know where I will be staying! Thank you Brookwood Inn!

  Very clean, front desk staff was very helpful and professional, the shower was persnikidy at times with controlling with temp. Very peaceful many times in a d out of hotel and only passes one person in the elevator. Breakfast was good if your an early riser. - In room refrigerator and breakfast were excellent. Since the issues were minor, like a smoke detector disconnected we stayed in our room.

  The staff went out of their way to accommodate our late check in and we were even able to grab a bite to eat.   The coffee maker did not heat the water. A replacement was given which also didn't heat the water. Power was out when we arrived. Came back on within 30-45 minutes. When asked about ice we were told the icemaker was broken (however, it turns out it was because the power was off). The bed was HUGE and super comfortable, could have done with larger pillows. The parking lot can get a little crowded as people check in. Location and cleanliness is also a concern when traveling. Your hotel fits them all. The only thingI found to be not so pleasant was the rear parking lot.
