  I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. The hotel rooms were excellent and were clean, comfortable and looked just like the hotel photos. We were upgraded from a family room to a suite and it was excellent... was die leute sagen » . It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located. - The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

  I love this little Inn. It is by far the least expensive place to stay in Chelsea/Flatiron. It is not fancy by any means but it is quiet and the location is great. It's half a block off 5th ave shopping, two blocks from Union square and 2 blocks from 8th Ave in Chelsea. The rooms have a refrigerator which was rare to find for the price. The continental breakfast next door has - The location and the courteous staff! Very comfortable and quiet and clean and you can get the sense of actually living there when you stay in this wonderful historic building. I will always book at the Chelsea Inn whenever I travel to NYC. The location is central to Union Square Station, and only one block over from 5th Avenue. From here, it's easy to get to anywhere in this beautiful City!

  The room was only 3 minutes from Q metro. 30 minutes to Manhattan. The neibourhood is calm and felt safe. Market, walgreens, dunkin donut, pizza and banks just around the corner. For the same price in Manhattan you got a dorm with shares bathroom. Room was extra clean. All in all definitely the perfect place to stay in New York for the money paid. Had the experience with many other hotels before in the city, none of those are even slightly comparable with the Brooklyn Midwood Suites (for the money paid). I will definitely stay here the next time I come to New York.

  It was about the average price that you'd pay for hotels in Times Square, but it was just outside the border of Times Square so it wasn't really noisy and busy. Having said that, it was about a 30 second walk from the centre of Times Square. Perfect location! Carlos was very nice at check-in and check-out. The room was very much what we hoped for. I was skeptical to stay at a place that had kitchenettes but this was a pleasant surprise! Clean, plenty of room for us. Location could not be beat!! We look forward to staying again as we travel to nyc a few times a year. Lots close by. Walked everywhere from here and never seemed far!!
