  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing.   Compared to other accommodations in Portland this place was reasonably priced. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely furnished.   We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

I asked him if the room had a refrigerator and he retrived one from storage and placed it in our room right away.
