  The lodge was in an idea place in the town clos to everywhere we waned to visit .The room was very nice and not noisy. The breakfast was really good plenty of choice for everyone. There were lots of places to eat.   Beautiful, large and well appointed condo. It is a little away from the center of town and the ski area, but that was nice for us. Very quiet and relaxing. Wonderful for our two families with kids. I made a special online request to be allowed to check-in early and the request was accommodated with no hassle. The room was for 3 people and had plenty of room. Very convenient room (efficiency apartment feel), good close parking, and support facilities. Town area is completely accessible on foot (easy walking distances). Very reasonably priced as I enjoyed my late season ski trip and scouted the area for other family and friends.   I traveled with my wife and two sons, ages 15 and 20. We had always heard about the Mammoth Lakes area and wanted to experience it for ourselves. Accomodations with at least two bedrooms is a must while traveling with the boys. The Village Lodge was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. We will most definitely stay at the Village Lodge for an extended perio - The location is ideal. We came before ski season but the gondola up to the ski resort is right in the village. There are several restaurants in the village along with a Starbucks! So nice to wake up in the morning and have a Starbucks a minute walk away.The whole atmosphere is very cozy feeling. Staff was very helpful with planning hikes and suggestions for fishing. Usually stay at the Westin but the Village is a much better deal. Highly recommend. Will be back in January!
