  The tour's (walking city, horror and sauna) that were run by the hostel were great. The free use of internet, free tea and coffee and pasta. Good location and walking distance to everything we needed. - very nice staff, pleasant and friendly place.

Nice modern hostel- hotel with clean and good-serviced rooms, comfortable kitchen, not far from the center and metro.   When we arrived we were welcomed by a charming and helpful receptionist. Although we were early we could book in the room straight away. The room was very clean , the beds comfortable - one of it was bunk, but I knew about it in advance so no problem there. The breakfast buffet was varied and it was plenty there, good coffee. If you have a travel card location is not a problem at all. It takes about half a hour to get to Gamla stan by walk and about 10 min to nearest subway station. Breakfast isgood. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Luggage room is very useful, especially if you have late flight. In few words, it's good value for money.

  This hostel is great value for money for Stockholm and quite comfortable. Our end was a like a nice hotel, with the use of hostel facilities (ie cheap washing machine, kitchen, kids toys, guidebooks, info). The room was equipped almost like a hotel ie with hairdryer, phone. It was quite a large place with many groups of teenagers staying there. Buffet breakfast was available for a charge and had a - Walking distance to city centre/train station but there is a tube station close by as well as bus stops. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area, near park. Sufficient breakfast option. Room/bathroom (en suite) size is more than adequate and bed comfortable. Room looked new. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.

They were constantly changing the environment, new seat covers, repainting the kitchen, and so on, but they always got whatever little task there was done during the day while,most people were out. I stayed there for two nights in a 4-bed-female-room, it was really clean and you meet a lot of people there. They have a good kitchen and a big room where you can stay 24h. Showers and toilets are separated (female/male) and everything was clean and not to full, so you can find at any time a free shower and toilette.

It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'. I didn't try the shared bathroom but only the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful : - comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise) - easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin" - big case for valuable belongi... was die leute sagen » ngs in the "multiple beds bedroom" - everything was modern : bathrooms, doors, furniture, kitchen, ... - big kitchen with lots of utensils for cookin - The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too, In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice. I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
