  We used the location as it was a perfect stopover for the ferry to England as it is approx. 20 minutes away so we were able to miss the rush in Santander, it also gave us the opportunity to taste the hospitality of a traditional Posada which we were not disappointed in. Our host made sure that we lacked for nothing during our stay. The room was perfect with a great view of the garden and breakfast was excellent. Our stay was perfect!

  When I initially booked my accommodation at this hotel I asked for a double room that had plenty of fresh air, as I suffer if exposed to cigs smoke or various smelly things. To accommodate this request they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom self contained apartment at no extra cost. From the apartment it was a nice walk into the old city and we enjoyed our stroll there. The cafe o - The price is really good and the rooms are fully refurbished and with a private bathroom with shower. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there wasn't any noise whatsoever. The staff were friendly and there's a bistro bar downstairs. There's plenty of parking space around the hostel
