One pillow is a lovely little hostal 30m from the metro and 200m from
the marina. The hostal its self is in a little side street and up on the
4th floor, look for the ally with the pub that sells gunnies, at the end
on the left is the hostal. The hostal is cleaned every day around mid
day and the breakfast is nice for the price, nicer then another hostal I
stayed at in Barcelona for twice the price. The staff speak good English
and are friendly and if I go back to Barcelona will go back to this. alle bewertungen »
Lovely and clean, was so much more than I expected for the price we
paid! Got free wifi and breakfast was really good with a selection of
juice, cereal and toast/crossiants and tea and coffee. Showers and
toilets were really clean didn't have to que for the four nights I
was there and it was fully booked during this time too. Staff were
really polite and a perfect location just off La Rambla.
Excellent location just verge of La Rambla. You can easily access Gaudi's Casa Batllo and La Pedrera, beaches and Barri Gotic-Old Town by walking. Very friendly staffs and a good design on the walls.
First off all, personnel! Gyus, you all are really awesome!!! Friendly, sociable, open, helpful indeed, funny, with a good sense of humor and much more. P.S. Cool sayings on the walls.
Amazing and very helpfull staff, nice rooms, comfortable beds, v. clean, well equiped kitchen. Perfect localization. If you wan visit Barcelona it's perfect place for you :).
Very helpful and friendly personnel, good breakfast ( especially juices), and location! but at first sight you can be scared od stairs-but you will get used to it.
The staff - great! Very nice people, always wanted to help. Of course location was genius! Bathrooms very clean, rooms also :).
I liked the hostel :)
Especially, it's personal!
English good speaking and very friendly! :).
The showers, well equipped kitchen, breakfast, perfect location, friendly staff.
Excellently clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The location is great — next to La Rambla with all the bars and restaurants, really close to the beach. Plus the rooms are very cheap to stay for 1-2 nights. The kitchen provides all the cutlery and dishes. Wi-fi is fast.
Breakfast, helpfulness of the staff, renovated showers and toilets. There was a possibility for a 5 person family to sleep in a one room. It was a peacuful place, no noice at nights.
nice staff,nice breakfast ,nice kitchen,.
colazione - breakfast very good.
English speaking staff plus nice breakfast buffet.
the staff was o.k,
the location was o.k.
Didn't have a private swimming pool. I.E. nothing.
Staff could have spoken a little more english but thye still were really
good, great place!.
It was a bit tiring to climb 4th floor, breakfast could contain more protein (cheese, salam, sausage etc.).
We've got a really small room, but i saw there were other, bigger than ours.
Too hot! No air condition, it was the worst thing.
Very loud at night.
I arrived late at night and the back street location was very unsafe as a single female traveller with luggage. I was followed but if part of a group you should be ok. Other than that the location was close to la rambla and tourist locations.
The hostel is on one of the upper floors, so it might be quite difficult to lift a heavy baggage. Also the rooms are not cosy at all. They are poorly furnished with a very old closet and uncomfortable chair (fortunately, a bed is soft).
We stayed in February and it was really cold inside. Moreover, the soundproofing is very bad — it was difficult to sleep with all the doors slamming and people walking in a hall.
The corridor was a shock at first. The beds and madrasses weren´t too good.
oh my god its on the 4th floor ...no lift !!! it was crazy to climb those narrow stairs..creepy stairs
beds were not comfortable, room very small.
no a.c
no fan also!!!
in summers its a suicide to go there.
i letti - these beds were terrible to sleep in, but at the end of the day we were too tired to have problems to fall asleep!.
1. beds were like little childrens bunk beds
2. mattresses were thin thin thin.
3. lockers arent big enough some of them even broken
4. place was also very dirty
5. To get there you need to walk through a creepy alley and up 6 flights of stairs through corridor less than 1 meter wide
5. bed bugs, extreme heat - fan didn' t help at all.
6. Pictures plus description on web side not accurate
I woudn't recommend unless price matters much more than comfort - if so for young travellers only.
Expensive(had a room with 6 bunk beds in it to myself) and got bitten by bed bugs.
the sheets was not clean I suppose were not in loundry for long time, bugs&worm wer present in the beds and 4 our children
and my wife and me wer injured
after the stay/twice/ in this ''place''.It is very unfair to locate this place on letsbookhotel.com.
