  To put my stay in context, I normally stay in 5 star hotels and have travelled extensively. The stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations, the location is great, the place beautiful.   Had a lovely stay at Cunningham's and was very impressed with our accommodation which was very comfortable and spacious and right next to the pool area which is also very nice. Very good value - Amazing breakfast with fresh fruits and continental option, along with the classic cooked option. Recommend the scrambled eggs. Nice pool area with honesty bar and wood burner - perfect to sit in front of on a chilly evening with a bottle of wine. The owner Tim is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place - lovely location on Leisure Island with a 10min walk to the beach looking out towards t - A very pleasant place to stay. We were in the outside cottage - fairly basic but absolutely adequate. Very bright with white everywhere, giving the place an opportunity to display how spotlessly clean everything was. The owner was the larger than life Tim, a real character. Breakfast was great. The location was superb being only a few minutes drive to Thesen island waterfront or just take a stroll around leisure island. It was idyllic. Tim even had my car washed. "It goes better when its clean"

Jacuzzi spa bath was perfect after hiking part of - A gem in the Eastern Cape, truly the best Lodge we stayed during our trip of South Africa. Villa Paradisa is extremely well appointed and has stunning views. The Management are fantastic and go out of their way to cater to your needs. I would recomend this Guest House to anybody stopping in Knysna, it will make your visit to the city much more special.
