  The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). We were touring in our own car and were - We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice.

  Almost everything, the staff was gret and very helpfull during all my stay in fes.   Just off the main street which makes it an ideal location. The actual road the hotel is based leaves a lot to be desired but it's a very short walk to lots of cafes and eateries. The room was very clean and comfortable.
