  The owner Concetta is fantastic. Extremely helpful, friendly and did all she could make our stay unforgettable. When all ferries from Lampedusa was cancelled due to the weather she drove us around town in order to secure some of the few last-minute flight tickets to Palermo. - nice looking hotel good breakfast good service

  My husband and I stayed at the B&B Serpotta when we first arrived in Sicily and liked it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We also rebooked at the B&B for our last night before heading home. The rooms/suites are beyond what you would expect from a B&B. The B&B also has a hot tub and workout area which again is beyond most B&B - I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

Lipari is lovely, and definitely the place to stay for a visit to Stromboli - I spent a night on each island, and would have been much better off staying two nights here with one of the boat tours to Stromboli.   We liked this B & B so much we stayed an extra night. With views of La Rocca and the sea, with a lovely patio and swimming pool, we felt that we got extra value for a vey reasonable price. The owners were on top of everything and friendly as well. Our room was huge with the nicest bathroom of our entire visit to Sicily. Cefalu was a most pleasant surprise and - Our stay at villa di giorgi was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful even when we arrived in the middle of the night. They recommended great restaurants and beaches as well as other things to do in the area. The b&b is about 5-10 minutes walk to the restaurants in the city. It is located on the hill so it has a great view which you can enjoy while having a delicious breakfast! I would definitely recommend this b&b to friends and family.
