  We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. She always offered to make any travel - Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full. Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs. Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value. Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities. Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.   The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

It is a fancy place--beautiful, clean, and polished. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was a palace! Very comfortable king size bed, sitting area with table and chairs, patio with view of harbor with table and chairs, a kitchenette in the room stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking pans plus refrigerator. The bathroom was lovely with a heavenly large shower.
