  We stayed in Rimida for 4 nights in september 2013 and really liked it. The view is AMAZING, the room has everything you need, including cooking appliances. Its a short walking distance from the center of Oia, and yet, it´s a very quiet and relaxing place.The room is like a cave, very nice. Everything was very clean and well mantained.   Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S - I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance.   Excellent for those people who need to relax and get away from the noisy life of other parts of the island. Staff and Owners were very friendly and did everything in their power to assist us on all our needs.   The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

The Kamari beach is very nice and I can say, that if You go to Santorini - You'd better stay in beach area of the island and take tours to the architectural part of the island. The tours to Oia, volcano, Thirassia are very popular,renting cars is extremely popular, the island is small, so no blockers for living - Location is the best, looking over to promenade and beach.
