  This was a well taken-care of hotel, stylish and the manager was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious considering the small rooms that are usually available in Hydra and had plenty of sunlight and good view of the mountain.   Everything was lovely. The atmosphere was very hospitable, and the renovations beautiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location was not too far from the port, and not up a lot of stairs. Easily accessible for those who can't climb too far. The breakfast was very good. - We loved everything about it! Great location and wonderful breakfast each morning on a patio. We can't wait to come back and stay again.

  Nereids Guesthouse was a perfect place to spend a few days in Hydra. We stayed at the deluxe room and it was even better than in the pictures. The location was a nice 5min walk from the harbor Things I liked were: -The room had a very nice interior design with wooden beams on the roof and an excellent view -Additionally, our room was perfect clean... was die leute sagen » and included shower gels and shampoos made by Korres. -Beautiful building made out of stone and marble -Many different verandas where every guest can - Nereids is a really charming guest house with amazing views up the mountain and down to Hydra town. The rooms were beautiful (exposed original stone and beams) and clean, and there are numerous terraces from which to enjoy the views. The manager/owner Costas could not have been more friendly or helpful. Highly recommended, although note that the property does feature some decidedly steep steps!
