Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all!   A lovely, well maintained little hotel in a great location. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again next time we visit Náfplion. - Staff was great. Facility is a reconstructed traditional mansion. Excellent work has brought it to modern standards.   Very nice small hotel at down town, main square of historical center of the city. Very friendly personnel, nice breakfast (possible late breakfast). Nice room and furniture. Manager (owner) of hotel personally interested many time about our staying here. Two minutes walk to sea, 15 minutes walk to the beach. Location is amazing, it is in the heart of syntagma square, but at night we could sleep without any problem. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to napflio.

It had a beautiful view from the balcony overseeing the town, harbour and Palamidi fortifications. The staff was always available, very helpfull and kind. Our son liked the pictures on the internet so we booked it but were not expecting too much. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The apartment with one bedroom and one sofa bed was very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Would recommend it highly.
