The hotel is rather old , however there is a feeling of nostalgia at both the hotel and that part of Lixouri. If you are to travel to this hotel and want to travel back and forth from the main town (Argostoli) make sure you do it by Ferry Boat as its cheap and quicker than driving. The hotel was a decent spot to travel the south west spot of the island. It is in front of the beach as noted (which looks decent) but is actually a good spot to swim (especially with children as the water is rather .
