  War mit Rucksack zum Inselhopping Ende Juni unterwegs und hab mir die Unterkunft kurzfristig ausgesucht wegen den guten Bewertungen und dem (zum Buchungszeitpunkt) sehr günstigen Preis. He picked us up from port and drove us to hotel. Hotel is very clean, and has all basic necessities. It is located slightly outside Chora so it's nice and quiet, but everything is very close walking distance. After we first arrived Elias saw us walking to the beach as he was driving by to run errands, and stopped to pick us up and drive us to beach! He lives above hotel, and is available at all times if you have any problems or questions. - Excellent facilities; traditional Cycladic rooms. The owners are very friendly and make you feel comfortable from the first moment. I recommend Athena Rooms to anyone who is looking for convenient, astonishing clean and quiet but not isolated place to stay. Excellent value for money!

After a welcome drink, Chris bring your staff into your room. The breakfast is delicious with a perfect service. The swimming pool has the best view of Ios. You are close to 2 beaches tzamaria and koumpara. The room are well design and decorated. The owner will ask you if you have a pleasant day and discuss - A fantastic welcome at the port, a quick tour of the locality and good advice. An obvious pride both in the island and this beautifully presented and situated hotel, matched with a friendly attitude - nothing was too much trouble. It felt like we were staying with friends - eager to return.

  We stayed just one night between ferries and were very positively impressed by the standards of the rooms, the most convenient location and the warmth and friendliness of the welcome. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and well equipped. The breakfast was truly excellent, served with style, abundant and varied.
