  The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are lovely, the swimming facilities are stunning with lots of little terraces built out into the sea. I don't know how busy the hotel was but there were always loungers available. The access to sea swimming was the best thing for us. We ate all our meals in the hotel and they were great.   Value for money here is phenomenal. Rooms are and have all that you would expect/require in terms of size, comfort and cleanlinesss. The design and location are magnificent, the pool lovely and the service top notch (they even sent us our sweaters via snail mail at no charge since we accidentaly left it at the hotel). Vangelis still cooked us a quick but delicious meal. The room was big and well equiped, the wifi worked perfect the whole time, the swimmingpool + poolbar was great for lazing around the whole day, plus excellent views over Elounda. Vangelis is really one of the best host/owner we've ever met! Don't miss out the sunday boat tour.

  As others have noted, the location of this hotel overlooking the beach is lovely. The room was basically furnished but fine for our needs. Nice family who own the hotel and most guests seemed to be "regulars". There is a relaxed atmosphere around the pool area which is also very nice.
