  Panorama is a wonderful accommodation, set in a beautiful location and run by lovely family man. You will not be disappointed if you book to stay at the Panorama Fanari. The accommodation has the best views we have ever had during our visits to Kefalonia and the room we stayed in was fantastic.   Balcony rooms (I wasn't around to 'use' one so did without) might get some noise from the square but this is an excellent base in the heart of Argostoli, with a good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and a few yards from the quay. - Great location! Good value for money!!!

  Tourist Hotel was a great hotel, situated in a fantastic location. Argostoli is a very quiet town, however my visit was in low-season and this could be the reason for this. I would not recommend Argostoli if you-re looking for lots to do, as you may be required to travel out of town to reach these destinations.   I had a lovely stay at Oskars- it is family owned and operated and the family was always warm, welcoming and immediately attentive to any of my requests. The value is excellent and exceeded my expectations based on price. I had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and always felt looked after for any needs I had during my stay. The studios are clean and the beds excellent. You need a vehicle to get around, a trekking bicycle worked fine for me to get to beaches - Everything! You are in Argostoli in 5' by car. It is very cool at night, making AC not necessary. Extremely well preserved garden - the owners really put their all into it. Maria really made us feel at home - I've been to a lot of appartments to be able to say that this facility stands out by far, in terms of relaxation, friendliness, as well as location.
