  The staff was extremely nice. They booked a taxi to the airport for us for a very good price and they recommended us good restaurants and places to visit. The location of the hotel is also perfect, close to the city center but far away from the noise. Walk into Chania takes about half an hour, and beach only five minutes away. When we called up to explain, they assured us there'd.be someone at the bar until late, and when we were further delayed they stay - We added the half-board option and were spoilt by the chef and restaurant crew. Excellent food with good variations of international cuisine and Greek specialties. The hotel offers a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The location offers quick and easy acess to the major roads if you want to explore the Island by car. Easy to acess the City center of Chania by bus, taxi or car or just to take a walk along the beach.

My friend left his cable at the hotel and we contacted them if it was there. They found the cable and mailed it to his address for free.   I have discovered Chania to be a beautiful city, with old town streets to explore, myriad shops and restaurants around a charming harbour. I have also discovered this to be a jewel of a hotel residing about ten metres away from the harbour front. The Belmondo hotel is small and personal, each room is different, all had character, felt like a rare luxury in the perfect loca - The staff without exception could not do enough to make our stay perfect. Our room was not what I expected and I was told they were fully booked. After 3 nights I checked on letsbookhotel.com and discovered they had a suite available and we were moved. I think it was a misunderstanding and they very kindly did not charge us for the upgrade. I would highly recommend an upgrade to a 'suite' a large room with two sofas. I will come back as soon as possible!! - Situation. Close to the old town and the main activities. Nice view on the sea and close to the small beach at the end of the street. Don' t expect luxary in this place, it' s more like backpack but really convenient. There is a bar at the groung level so you can have your (nice) breakfast there or have a drink at night. It' s usually busy so a little bit noisy if you want to go to sleep at 8pm. Good experience, I' ll be there again if I' m back in Chania.

We went with another couple and they were in the room next to us so that we could sit out and chat. Although the hotel rooms are basic they have all you need and were cleaned regularly. We hope to return next yea - The balcony view was amazing. You can see all the harbor. The room itself was simple but clean. There is soundproof balcony doors (the harbor is noisy throughout all the night). The staff was helpful, we got some tea for free to enjoy in our balcony. We liked the breakfast as well with a glass of fresh orange juice. I would definitely advice it for other travellers (be sure to book a room with a balcony and sea view).

It is a shame we only spend one night. Our daughter had a great time. It was in the middle of Chania's old centre. Everything in walking distance. Absolutely recommended. - Could not have asked for more in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful with plenty of great recommendations. The location of the hotel was great, still close to the port but just away from all the noise that comes from the restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and designed individually, a bit like a home away from home. Each room also has a lovely view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania.
