The staff were most attentive, but at the same time unobtrusive, and carried out their duties in a most professional manner. The room was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. Nice décor with an old-world feel in the lobby and public areas. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The Restaurant (and the service there) is excellent. Was only there for a shortish business break so didn't use the pool/gym and can't comment on those.

I also liked the fact that if I decided to forgo a room clean I received a voucher for the bar.   Went to Adelaide with friends to go to the cricket and the motel was in a great location, close to Adelaide Oval, city centre and shops, and close to tram/railway station for use of public transport. Great facilities and room was clean and fresh. Great indoor pool/spa/gym area. Friendly and helpful staff. Having a full kitchen and washing machine was great when travelling with a toddler. Our package stated not serviced due to the cheap price, but our room was serviced every day anyway - nice surprise. The hotel is central to everything - we left the car in the carpark and walked to the zoo and around the city on several days.

This aspect was very unsatisfactory but the quality of the meals served (albeit late) was still excellent - The staff were friendly and helpful. The complex is well situation to the Clare township and wineries. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, the bathroom spa and the excellent dinner where I experienced my first wagyu steak which was absolutely superb. Thanks Steve and staff for making our short stay such a memorable one!
