  We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. Overlooking the river and with lawns all round, a barbeque down by the river. Sure the houses were old, but still in good repair. Had a great time! - The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

  The apartment had everything necessary for our stay in Hobart. it was spacious and comfortable, in a good position for walking around the Harbour and Central city areas. The staff were very helpful and polite, Convenient guest lounge through the day supplied good coffee. Would recommend highly,and would stay there again. - A delightful city, Great Art Gallery's and Museums. Great food, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. We booked an apartment at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel because (a) it was very central to everything, (b) because we grew up on Vic. sheep properties in the 1940-60s and farmed sheep with Tasmanian bloodlines for wool ourselves and (c) because letsbookhotel.com offered great book-ahead specials.

  The staff member at Quest Savoy was fantastic and couldn't do more for us as we didn't get the room we booked so she upgraded us to another room at their Trinity House. I will definately be staying with Quest again and telling all my friends as well.   Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

  Reception prompt and because room not ready we were given a card so that we could use the car park. Room very clean and nicely furnished ,beautiful fluffy towels changed daily. The restaurant staff very friendly and chatty. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back - The view and position right on the river. Our room had a window overlooking the river and it was such a beautiful view, and a lift for the luggage carting. The room was very comfortable, with a toaster, microwave,crockery and cutlery for breakfast; a great idea. Bring your own cereal, fruit and a loaf of bread with some butter and you have a healthy breakfast, with the local papers available, one can relax and gaze over the activity on the river while eating breakfast.
