  We all loved staying at the Mecure Canberra. I booked several rooms for a family trip for 3 nights. They kindly upgraded our rooms when we arrived. It's where old meets modern. One of the rooms was a two level, two bedroom apartment! Really practical for when you have kids in the group. The location is excellent with easy access to the city via bus. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and to the War Memorial.

We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

I was kindly rang by a staff member to let me know that room was not available as it was a two bedroom apartment I had booked a one bedroom apartment.
