  Stayed here for an overnight on a 4 day motorcycle ride. Front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. Room was your regular motel room size, but the appeal here is the extreme cleanliness and impeccable upkeep of the property. When I looked at a number of properties in Watkins Glen, most others were almost double the price. Seeing what I got here, I don't know why I woul - The staff were exceptionally nice. The entire family pitched in to clean the rooms and make visitors feel welcome. The resident cat was also very friendly but did not come into any rooms and let you pet her if you wanted. The inn was right across the street from a shopping center with grocery store and cvs pharmacy. Very convenient

We walked to - Very clean and good amenities for a small Mom and Pop type Motel. Had everything you needed including shampoo, fridge, microwave. Great location - could walk to town and Watkins Glen State Park.

  Catherine the host was wonderful. The house has a great location and the history and architecture of the house are fascinating. Catherine's own history and the family artifacts from South Africa and other parts of the world just make this a jewel of a place to stay since there is something interesting in the house in every room. I'd recommend this - We stayed one night on our way to Niagara falls. Had a party of five and stayed in two rooms. We received a friendly welcome and tour of home by host. Rooms were large and quiet. Beds very comfortable. Home has an interesting history. Current host/owner has decorated the home very well with furniture and items from around the world. Breakfast was excellent. Many wineries are located within a short driving distance in the Finger Lakes region.
