  We were all pleasantly surprised with the hotel! It was very nice that the front desk called our room an hour after checking in to confirm that everything was alright with our room. None of us expected a hotel with this high of a standard to be so close to Penn State and still available on a home game weekend.   I had stayed at the Inn many times over the past 2 1/2 decades, and this was my first visit in 7 years. The renovations are lovely, the staff is professional and helpful, and the food is superior - Room design/layout. Super clean all over. Friendly staff

  I was bringing my son back after the Easter weekend and didn't want to drive back home that evening. I also didn't want to spend a lot for basically just a night's sleep. We usually stay at the Atherton but when I went online they wanted $30.00 more for a room than than the Days Inn (that's my gas $ amount for my drive home!). I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the front desk staf - I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.
