The room was very clean, with a lovely retro look to it. Not like the usual Motel 6 rooms. Stayed at this location as it was close to a relatives house we were visiting. It was quiet, and staff was very nice and helpful with directions, etc. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, and the area appeared to be quite safe. Would definitely stay again!. It was a lovely room that felt fresh and new, it was clean, the staff was very nice and welcoming, the area was lovely and surrounded with restaurants and useful shops, and situated near the beach. The beds were very comfortable (esp after my long journey from SF) and I felt safe falling asleep there.
所有评语 » I loved the staff, friendly, professional, warm and very helpful and caring! Rooms were very modern, clean and very comfortable. Remote didn't work and staff immediately replaced it with one that did. Breakfast was very nice, maybe a larger choice of fruits and yogurt would have been nice. Its good enough! Its quite close to the nightlife and beach. Not walking distance, but close. The room is fine, its clean, no extras but nothing is missing. Free parking. Its great to stay overnight!. The room was clean and convenient. The bed was comfortable. The location was pretty good. Very friendly and comfortable. Bed and pillows were more like higher end hotels. Clean. Helpful staff. Good location. A good value for Santa Barbara. Guys at front desk were really nice It was clean Good value for price. Staff at check-in was very friendly and accommodating. Location, beds, television and pet friendly. the mid century sonic room design. decent for the price. very clean updated. My checkin was excellent. The staff person who helped me was very good. The room was clean and well laid out. The contemporary look of the room. Easy parking, friendly staff. Rooms are clean. The building looks nice. The towels were very stiff, small and scratchy. Not the most comfortable mattress, but not horrible either. Seemed a little pricey for a Motel 6, but for Santa Barbara it is a bargain!. I didn't like paying for the wi fi and the aircon was a bit loud. early in the morning, around 6am, people were talking loudly on the balcony which woke me up, but I have no idea if they were staff or just annoying neighbours. Looks are deceiving as I was not impressed with the outside of the Motel but the rooms were very modern and nice. So really nothing I didn't like. The room has an odd smell. Wifi should be free. You may feel a little insecure because of the motel style infrastructure. The room is small. No shampoo and coffee was poor. towels were really ridiculously thin. No closet only two stubs sticking out of wall. Also paying for internet was surprising. the towels are miniscule and the bars of soap evaporated after 2 handwashings. smelled weird. Very noisy and way to many disrespectful dog owners. Having never stayed at a Motel 6 before, was not prepared for no mini fridge and/or microwave. Had to ask for hairdryer. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There was no do not disturb sign to indicate housekeeping was not wanted. Housekeeping and grounds staff did not acknowledge guests even if you smiled or said hello. The key drop off was not secure so anybody could have take card keys. For a 1 night stay the motel was fine. For a 5 night stay it was unpleasant. Lack of amenities such as iron, ironing board, and hair blow dryer. No iron in room. The hotel was incredibly overpriced - 180 $. Room condition was pretty poor. Vinyl flooring. No place to hang hardly any clothes. No hair dryer. Stains on mattress. Questionable cleanliness of room. Price was outrageous for the value and conditions of the room. For that price I 've stayed at many other motels and hotels and gotten a lot more. Too small of room. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The walls too thin so can hear other rooms conversations. Shampoo would have been nice. The room was tiny, and the rest room was in a closet???. The room smelled like smoke. When I talked to the front desk, I told them it smelled like smoke and that there was an ashtray in the room. The attendant insisted it was non-smoking and the ashtray was for people to use outside. An ashtray invites smoking in the room. My goodness, how much would it cost Motel 6 to supply some shampoo? Other hotels do so we don't bring any with us. No shampoo--said go to the vending machine.. No conditioner--said go to the vending machine.... No hair dryer... Bath towels the size of wash cloths... Owner has cut corners where ever they can and it is nothing more then a box to stay in for the night--. I hade reservations I called and told the lady if it was ok to book a room and check in at 11pm and if they would still have our room for us when we got there at 10:30 pm they had already given my room away had to drive around for a hour looking for a room and found the lemon tree it is a wonderful place to stay. The room was penetrated by cigarette smell, the drain In the shower didn't work so you were pretty much bathing in your own filth, the towels in the room were of poor quality and stained as well as the blankets. I won't ever be staying here again or recommend anyone else to do so.
