After long sessions on line searching for a hotel we were thrilled with our selection. The Jade Inn exceeded our expectations. It was truly an awesome experience. Can't say enough about the staff they were professional , friendly and accommodation in every way. Can I tell you about the view from our window it was breath taking , brought tears to our eyes the Freedom Tower glistening in Red -White - Blue it doesn't get much better than that. As far as we are concerned the Jade is truly a gem an.
所有评语 » The Jade is in an excellent location (right smack dab in the middle of Greenwich Village) and is surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely helpful and so sweet helping me with my luggage and making sure I was comfortable in their hotel. The hotel itself is really beautiful and very luxurious. A seriously awesome boutique vibe. The hotel has free wifi, very comfortable rooms and very lux toiletries. I absolutely loved the restaurant / bar that is attached for a late n. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in our 28 years of marriage. I liked the eco-friendly toilets and the toilet items. I liked the turn down service that was done and we did not have to make an extra call, they just did it. It was a special treat to have nice robes. It was the best sleep we have ever had in New York, the bedding, sheets, pillows were the best. They have very nice local toilet items. Felt pampered. We did not get to go to . The decor was fabulous with retro telephones that had the old, rotary dials. My teenagers were clueless on how to make a call. HA! They have very clean, modern bathrooms, robes, slippers and staff was friendly and helpful. Flat screen TV's hung on the wall allowed for more room. We ordered room service and it was scrumptious! The Wild Mushroom Risotto was off the hook...(another reference your teens won't get until the check out their phones. :) Great place to stay with your teens if you . Me and my girlfriend have been living in new york for quite some time. We had to leave our apartment for a few days (family visiting) and decided to go to a hotel. Jade was a perfect choice. They just opened and everything is very new and clean. The ambiance is perfect - It feels like being in the 20's/30's. The location is also amazing. Best part of new york. We are definitely coming back if we have to leave our apt again or even for a routine-break weekend. Highly recommended. Hope it doesnt . Jade proved to be an excellent choice for us. Ideal location for our daily sightseeing walks, pleasant streets around. The hotel was immaculately clean and the rooms very quiet - which was a priority for us. Our room and bathroom looked extremely pretty and we had a view of the new World Trade Centre from our room, we could actually stargaze from our beds. Staff very helpful and outstandingly kind, the bellboys always had a few nice words for our kid. The staff at this hotel was outstanding! They were friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to make our trip better. I thought the lobby and bar were charming and our room small but well appointed and comfortable! The location was terrific, close to subway stops, good eats, and charming shops. I loved Greenwich Village; it felt a world apart from the Midtown area and was also within easy walking distance to Lower Manhattan. We didn' realise when we booked this hotel that it was brand new and had only been open two weeks but it didnt detract from the service.We loved the hotel the staff were really friendly and attentive. The reception staff including were great for helping us with suggestions of where to go and how to get there especially David thank you for suggesting we go to see The musical Kinky boots we thoroughly enjoyed it!! we will definatly be back. Couldn't have asked for nicer staff. Arrived at 8am and our hotel room was ready (normal check in time is 3pm) the lovely Brian brought all our bags to our room. All the staff were so helpful & friendly. Food was delicious, could have been a little cheaper but when your in New York everywhere is expensive. We were so central to everything yet far enough away for a little peace & quiet. Hehe! Overall we really enjoyed our stay!. The staff are all very personable, professional and friendly. I would like to especially mention Ms. Olympia (I think) who offered me a glass of wine when my assigned room wasn't ready after the check-in time. She also greeted me by my last name every time she saw me during my 4 nights stay. I would also like to mention Bryant who was ever friendly and eager to help. Overall I feel welcomed and had a very pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with a 20s Art Deco theme. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, bathroom was spotless and the view was great too. The location of the hotel was great too, it's right next to an art school, so there's not too much riffraff. Will definitely stay here again. The subway was right around the corner, as were a lot of shops, cafés and bars. A quiet street but still close to everything. The staff was super extra friendly - sometimes to a point that it was annoying. All in all a good experience, nice hotel with a nice location. The Jade Hotel is in a perfect location in the Greenwich Village. The rooms are NYC style small but clean and comfortable. You really only need a good nights sleep after a long day out in the city. The hotel had only just opened do I was a bit concerned about teething problems. To the contrary! The staff were super friendly and the hotel was perfect. The location was excellent- an easy walk to Bleecker st and to shopping on 5th. We could see the empire state building from our window. Quiet. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The food was quite good although expensive. The location is ideal - nice quiet neighborhood but close to subway stops and restaurants. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. My teen girls loved it as well!. The design of the hotel is beautiful and the art deco ambiance is very relaxing. The beds were fantastic; really comfy with beautiful linens and pillows. The vibe is hip yet relaxed and the doorman remember you everyday! nice touch. While the rooms are a little smaller the location makes up for it because people don't come to NYC to hang inside. I really liked this hotel and would reccomend it. Excellent location and extremely friendly and helpful staff! We were visiting NYU as a potential university choice for my 16 year old daughter. We wanted to stay near the school so we could experience the neighborhood a bit. Loved it!. Pretty much everything. From the doorman, bellboy, reception desk, bartender, manager everyone was just lovely. The hotel is unique, not cookie-cutter, and tastefully appointed. Liked the library, fireplace and general ambience. The staff is amazing and works hard to optimize your stay. The hotel is very nice and is tucked in a neighborhood feeling area with all the conveniences of the city (including subway, restaurants, shopping,etc). just steps away. The staff were super friendly and quite engaging. I had the pleasure of interacting with Burke Lee several times and was very impressed him. He was quite helpful on several occasions. The staff were incredible. Up there with the best customer service we've experienced in all our travels around the world. It's a perfect hotel for a couple. It was always extremely clean and we'd be back there in an instant. The location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable. I liked that the window opened a little so you could get fresh air. The restaurant was beautiful. I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer! :). It was a bit on the dark side so older people may have trouble with the lighting in the reception area. There is an elevator for those who may have trouble with the entrance as the stairs go down. But these would not deter me from recommending it. Like most NY hotels, the rooms were a bit small, but they were smartly decorated to make the best of the space. The ventillation system in our bathroom was a little noisy - the system seemed to suffer from some hiccups. Our only critisim of the Jade hotel was when we went out for the day and got back and our room hadn't been cleaned. After reporting it to the staff we still had to wait about two hours for it to be done and had to vacate the room when we really needed to rest as we were feeling Jet lagged. Of all the staff the chambermaid was the only one who was unfriendly dont think she was too happy having to clen our room at five o clock!! but eh wasn't our fault. The food was slightly over priced & the bedrooms were small, but that's New York for ya!!. The room is a little small. Pretty expensive, but taking into account the friendly & professional staff, great decor & cool vibe, I will definitely stay there again. Our room was cleaned every day but since we stayed for six nights, it'd been nice if they'd sometimes done more than changed the towels and taken out the garbage. Also, way too much furniture for the size of the room. The restaurant was quite expensive, for example the breakfast and the drinks. (Luckily there are amazing restaurants nearby, for breakfast try the Grey Dog, mmmm.) The rates are going too high. We stayed in a family room with 2 twin beds. There is only 1 wardrobe so don't even try to unpack your suitcases. There is not enough space. The hotel sign isn't very obvious. (Not a bad thing just something to be aware of when looking for it.) Bar was a bit expensive but I think that may just be like all of New York (spirit measures are bigger than UKs standard 25ml). Still working out some customer service bugs from being only 2 months old but I know they will soon perfect this!. Nothing comes to mind. It was a great stay. Bedstead dusty. Limited clothing space, I made a useful suggestion in this regard. Nothing, actually. Everything was great!. Havac is noisy. This is a known problem the staff says will be addressed. The building has no service elevator so when the cleaning staff is in full stride elevator wait times can be long. In room coffee would be nice. Air conditioning not working so well - still very humid in the room. Very hot weather we were having. No issues. The room needed more light. A floor lamp in a corner (there was room) would have helped. I was in room 801. The bartender was slow to take orders and unfriendly. Perhaps it was because I was alone and female? The service in the restaurant was generally slow. The half door in the shower did not contain the water effectively. There was no coffee in the lobby on the weekend days. Wish the had a coffee maker in room:(. This is only a very minor point as the room was very clean and housekeeping staff was attentive. However, the high gloss finish on the furnishings makes it easy to see the fingerprints from previous guests and it would be good if these areas could be wiped down with a cloth before each new guest, especially the tv cabinet, desk drawers and phone. Nothing at all. There wasn't much to dislike, but having to re-log into the Internet each time you closed your computer wasn't the best use of time. N/A. Loved my room, but it was super tiny. I was alone so it was fine, but if my husband had been with me, it would have been a little cramped. The restaurant was slightly disappointing with food & wine on offer. Two elevators seem inadequate for 18 floors. Some delays. The bed was a little too soft. Didn't like the artwork over the reception desk. no valet parking - but there is a parking garage very close by. Lack of a fridge in the room. Cramped space also, especially with two young kids. The staff did their best to assist but the space thing couldn't be helped. Neither issue dampened our experience. The toilet was inches from the leg of the sink. When I asked about it they said it was a new concept. It was the running joke. You literally had to sit sideways. The food in the restaurant was good but not special.
