Great location, in the middle of everything. Nice cornerroom(no#1212) with a great view. 6th Ave in one direction with Central Park at the end, and looking down on Herald Square and Macys in the other direction. Nice Rooftop bar(not a part of the Hotel). Beside the metro station litterely. You can see Macy's largest store in the USA from door of the Hotel. There is a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the Empire estate building OMG. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We borrowed a wheelchair from the hotel and it allowed us to travel much faster and gave my daughter a much broader experience of New York, for which I sincerely thank you. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very big in comparison to other rooms in NYC. It was excellent location, though being on the 8th floor we had a lot of city noise. Room had opening windows which is a big plus. Location is excellent! And an important subway station is right below the hotel, so you can move elsewhere.... Staff was always ready to help and facilities were good, there´s also a nice gym and laundry machines for guests. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. 5 minutes from Time Square, 2 from Empire State. We were in NY for 4 days, yet only used the subway once. Staff were fab and the hotel was modern yet homely. The location. With the subway right outside the door we used the subway to travel the city. Macy's was across the street. Time Square was a few blocks north and the Empire State building was one avenue away. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Corey was so helpful, as was the rest of the staff. Excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much for them and they were very welcoming. Location was also excellent in Herald Square with Macy's across the road and not too far from Times Square. The staff went out of their way to be friendly. We enjoyed them so much. The house keeper was wonderful too. They all treated us like family. We will definitely try to stay here again. Location was superb, right beside Macy's, Empire State Building, central for many of the sights. This hotel has the most fantastic roof terrace/bar overlooked by the Empire State Building. we came early but a room was ready so we were allowed to check in and leave our things in the room room was of good size and being on the 14th floor-we did not hear any traffic noise. Staff was cheerful anne friendly. Good value flute a well outfitted, brand new property. Room was reasonably sized. Centrally located. Just perfect for an overnight business stay. Our room was for four people and was had two double beds and also plenty of room. We had a great location with Macys just across the road. the staff were extremely helpful also. The staff were always helpful from the doorman to reception. It was very central to the attractions for us and those that weren't nearby we could reach by taxi or the tube. Good room size and great for 3 to share double double room. Efficient services, quick and simple checkin/out, excellent location and great roof bar. Staff offered to get one but it was our fault that we did not follow up on that personal contact. Starbucks in the lobby was terrible and very limited in its food selection. Nothing... Drinks on rooftop bar were ridiculously expensive. The rooms were small and every available space was used. For a family of four the rooms were a little too small. Unusual for the USA in our experience. We were offered a free upgrade to a fantastic larger room but it only slept three! It was also expensive but I guess that is the way it is in NY at this time of year. breakfast choices rather limited. Street entrance simply does not work!. the toiletries in the room would not be adequate for four people so we bought our own in the pharmacy across the road, they would only be fit for one person. Breakfast wasn't included but we knew that when we booked. Car was scratched whilst valet parked and concierge would not take responsibility for it at first. Had to involve manager, case ongoing.. Depsite the great location, it was noisy at night. I probably wouldn't stay there again for this reason. Stay away form the Monarch Rooftop Bar. 5 beers, a small pizza, and a soda water will run $100.-, which is certainly NOT value for money; plus there is no redeeming view from the rooftop anyway. Free WiFi is advertised but not available. When questioning staff we were given a phone number routed to Asia... Waited on hold and then only able to obtain access for 1 laptop and told to call back for each cell phone?! Maybe it was a fluke but still a bummer. A little pricey. Also, when we checked out and left to go to the Metropolitan Museum, we were not advised that the Met will not allow you to enter with a suitcase. Had we been told that they do not check any bags at the museum we would have stored our bags at the hotel. This was a major problem and we ended up not getting to see the museum at all. Very limited tv options. We had breakfast included in the room rate. There really was a very limited breakfast and if you went over the allowance you had to pay - even for a cup of tea or coffee!! We paid £1250 for three nights!! Immediately next door was a Hilton Garden Inn with a decent breakfast at half the room rate. We should have booked there. We will next time. Pricey food & bar drinks. Small rooms and pricey. Bass noise from the night club on 17th floor on Fri/Sat night. Way too expensive for such a small room. There was a pulsing noise/vibration( the the beat from techno music, though it was erratic). IT started around 11pm and made sleep difficult ( I was on the 17th floor). Only minor gripe was small amounts of coffee supplied in room. Location. It is very central of course but the streets around are so full of people that it's difficult to get away quicky from the hotel (with metro no problem, the entrance "NE 35th str/6th Av" is just next to the hotel) there are also not so much possibilities to eat nicely around. It's not very quiet at night. so if you like to be in the middle of the crowd, it's your place!. *we stay for 2 nights and we never have housekeeping in our room and for the money that you spend that should be the minimum requirement. *the don't offer cradles not even for an extra charge.. Breakfast is very poor value for money. The price. But then prices are high in NYC. breakfast concept OK, but not outstanding. It would be nice with something to hang your coat on next to the door. Extra placement for suitcase, instead of just one, since we were two persons, and two suitcases. The double room with two double beds accomodate 2 people, and not for 4 people as Booking could suggest. Room rather small. noisy with the rooftop bar blasting music all night, but it wasn't a huge bummer. The noise from the rooftop bar (we had to move from our room on the top floor because of it). Missed the Pool. rooms very small. rooftop bar not open yet, did not mention that on website. breakfast is provided by Starbucks on-site, lots of items are excluded or extra. Small restaraunt. earplugs recommeded because of location.
