  This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The pool and courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious with many food options from which to choose.   The hotel was really nice and in perfect location near the French quartet but still far enough from all the noise of Bourbon Street. For our surprise, the hotel offered free complimentary breakfast for each morning which was really good. The staff was helpful and helped us to book a nice swamp tour. Although the room was a bit small and we did have noisy neighbors, the overall experience in that price was exc - Location was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly, good breakfast. As part of a package that was purchased online we went on a 4 day cruise and had 2 nights at the Hyatt Regency. The nights at Cotton Exchange were an add on that we purchased on our own. We preferred the Cotton Exchange by far. We wouldn't hesitate to come again and recommend it to our friends. Not so of the Hyatt. We would never go there again. Your staff is really excellent!

  I had a nice time staying at the Residence Inn on March 1st, 2013. I wish I could have stayed longer but my funds would not let me.   Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were always prompt and willing to help. Hotel is in a great location. I would not stay anywhere else. Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would stay there again.

They were able to answer all my questions and give me the lay of the land, so to speak.
